A brawl convert for sure. or somebody is ****ing with his head and took him to lightning mode.
in that case
YES THE GAME IS THAT FAST
everyone that plays competitively plays in lightning mode.

Just kidding. You don't want the kid to actually practice on lightning mode, now do you?

the more you play, the easier it is to understand what's going on. It's amazing. I love thinking at 9000 miles per hour.

Amidst the abounding light of heaven!
I should go play some F-Zero GX. That **** is fast.
Agreed. That game is amazing.
I can't believe they took out the GX music for earlier slower version in Brawl.

Anyway, the truth is that no, Melee isn't all that fast at the lower difficulties. It only becomes the amazing think fast game that it is once atleast one of the players involved is ready for that kind of thing.

VBM trained in lighting mode it's a fact. No lightning mode is hardly good for you. It doesn't really increase you're reflects or timing. also i'd think sheild grabbing would be near broken in it.

she is faster in brawl and her uthrow was buffed. thats why they made the rest weaker so if you combo uhtrow rest it wouldnt kill at zero %

I remember when I converted from not even competetive brawl to competetive Melee.

I was like; WOW THE GRAVITY IS ALL WEIRD! and HOW DOES SILENT SPECTRE DO THIS?!?!

Thankfully, I was so amazing at the wombo combo, my dedication kept me to playing the best game ever.
I've been playing this game for almost 2 years now, and it is the best investment I've ever made.

I don't even play brawl but what you said is terriblely wrong. up-throw wasn't changed at all other than maybe hitstun. everyone is very flaoty also puff's air speed isn't that different also her airs can't L-cacel even if in both games they mostly autocancel. also WDing makes puff faster.

I don't know I use her ground movement a bit in melee unlike most people. but melee puff is very lagless her moves flow very well.

You are incorrect gravity is much lower it's hardly different maybe a foot more but if you adjusted the differences in gravity guess what?

it goes higher whats so hard to understand about that? u will need 3 jumps to reach the peak of his uthrow at 0 %

I see what u mean. The uthrow has the same strenght but it still goes higher. Thats why they nerfed the rest cuz it would be broken to combo it with the higher uthrow

or you know, that rest killed the heaviest characters at like 50% in the middle of stages could have led to a nerf

maybe you werent frame perfect. make sure you buffer the jump. and it doesnt work if the opponent DIs away (or air dodge out of it)

if frame perfect gameplay you could walk up to someone and use rest and kill them if they didn't powersheild it. frame perfect they would airdodge/di out and you'd be unable to hit them.

they'd have to di down and at 0% with higher gravily don't plat this s*** with me.

you cannot di down because its impossible to reduce knockback except for asdi. you can only alter your trajectory.
