Now that I think about it, if a whole Final Fantasy can be downloaded from Wii Ware, Brawl might not be that bad. You never know.

Unless your Wii's full... or you have a crap SD.

In yr 7 of my school year, the schools canteen replaced their chocolate milk brand OAK with a new type of Milk brand called Moove. I had bought an Oak chocolate milk bottle every single day of school so I was very dissapointed, especially when I tasted that disguisting thing they call milk that Moove made.

Anyways, I made a petition to bring back the tiny bottles of Oak back and got 100 signatures and sent it to the Milk company and.. they sent me hundreds of Moove dog tags.

My point is I don't think petitions work :(

I think most people would be happy with a demo containing much less than what we will see at E for All, lets say two or three stages, only the veteran fighters from E for All, and just a couple menu screens. This would require very little geometry, the Wii's low resolution means the textures wouldn't be huge, and it looks like the demo only had level 3 computers. So asides from the basic code required to run the game, I can't imagine there being more than 200MB of content.

After checking the ROM size of every N64 VC title, I found the largest one to be the Japanese version of Paper Mario (Mario Story), coming in at 64 MB. The Wii usually adds 3-5 MB to the standard ROM size for N64 games, so we can assume the largest download through the shop channel is nearly 70MB. Seeing as all this came through the shop channel, a Brawl demo roughly three times in size should be feasible, albeit slow. The only real question that remains is: would Nintendo be able to provide that kind of bandwidth?

Not on Virtual Console... there is going to be a Crystal Chronicles sequel on WiiWare. And if they can make that work... well, a demo for a game sounds reasonable.
oh i see. i believe that more than having ffvi on the VC ^_^
...now i want to play FFCC again.

If it's just Mario and sandbag with 1 minute... I'd still want it.

This is what I basically said in the comment I left on the petition. I don't care how watered down the demo is, I just want to feel the physics of the gameplay!

I agree with everything else you said, except a lesser version of a demo that was shown at E for all. Since the demo itself is complete, we can get the exact same version that people at E for All are playing...because it's already done!

Btw, I signed it. I hope this works. :)

Signed (my name is smk as the signature). I reserved this game (which I haven't done for a game since 2003 which was MKDD) hoping to get it Dec. 3rd and then having to wait until Christmas in order to play it. Sadly enough, the game gets delayed and the only thing that'll keep me busy is Galaxy. It won't keep me busy for long though which is why I want this demo, Nintendo! The one for E 4 All would be Godly and I would love you for it...

That's how I feel. I want this demo! >_<

I e-mailed them. I asked if a there was a chance of a demo and told them I'd gladly pay $20 for a demo with just 3-4 characters and 2-3 stages.

Sure Nintendo Power, why should anyone think of the Europeans.
I think we are not even getting the metroid channel.

I signed it though.
