I would agree with that change

I don't really think it would harm exposure that much. If people are interested in 64 they'll see it when they go to the main 64 section.

And I think most people here go to all the sections. It isn't very difficult to read, like, every post in the 64 boards because there aren't THAT many new ones every day (I personally read nearly everything).

Thanks a lot for doing what we wanted. You are the best of the best. My request for detaching from Melee was mostly for, er, symbolic purposes rather than actual usefulness, but still.

BTW, I don't really care if the Backroom is revealed or not but I honestly believe there isn't really any useful info in there (except the thread I made at the last second). You are too optimistic Olikus. There were little to no discussions that actually require high-level Smash knowledge to participate in, even at the beginning (where we pretty much briefly discussed the ruleset and did nothing after it was posted...). Was mostly discussing a few non-Smash-specific topics.

Personally I strongly strongly prefer having videos and character discussion be visible from the ssb64 discussion forum. I don't want to have to check 3 places to see if there are new posts.

Is it not possible to make them subforums of ssb64 discussion (so they are visible from ssb64 discussion) yet also appear on the main page?

My pleasure. I put character discussion and vids back under the main forum. You guys are right in that it ultimately doesn't make that much of a difference and if it works better for the regulars, that's obviously fine with me. It's going to be a bit longer till the SWF archive is set up, but it's looking pretty likely that the 64BR will be set to public at that time, there haven't been any strong complaints or concerns so far.

Could there be a orange prefix that says "Smash 64", and "Brawl & 64" for threads in tournament listings and tournament results? The latter not necessary, but at least the Smash 64 if it isn't too much trouble. I host 64 tournaments at my workplace that do get decent turnouts, most of the time bigger than brawl or melee tournaments, and while I usually type in smash 64 in the "other" field, think it's own prefix would be cool.

I just did an overhaul of the smash game prefixes. I ended up going with primary colors for the individual games and mixing those for the combined events, SSB64 is yellow.
