In the World of Smash. Its not the only world as next to it shares borders with the World of Jump (Weekly Shonen Jump). Both continents are on good terms each coming over time and time again to visit and even having tournaments such as food eating contests between

King K. Rool is actually really nice and personable to anyone that's not a Kong or incompetent minion of his, even if he's still prone to boasting about his greatness to them randomly.

To keep with the theme of Cranky Kong once being kept as a pet by Mario in New Donk City before, presumably, being released (or escaping) to the wild, I like to think something similar went down with K. Rool. Basically, based on the myth of sewer gators, K. Rool was also originally a pet. Some rich New Donker wanted a trendy exotic pet and imported a Kremling, mistakenly thinking they were no different from ordinary crocodilians, like the Klaptrap. Once K. Rool started growing beyond a manageable size, he was promptly tossed into an open sewer and abandoned.

Still keeping his learned love of the luxurious, but now fueled by hatred, K. Rool eventually ended up back on Crocodile Isle, crowned himself its king, and mobilized the Kremlings into invading the neighboring DK Island.

Due to her sensitivity to cold temperatures, in the event that she's not in her Power Suit,

tends to wear heavy coats or jackets in the rain while carrying an umbrella.

often asks Samus if he can wrap his wings around her to help keep her warm a bit, to where she usually accepts the offer. She enjoys decently warm temperatures and gentle windy breezes the most.

Pit also can cook simple food that isn't too complicated, like mac & cheese and soup, burgers, spaghetti too after some help. He favors cooking junk food over the healthy things. Samus seems to like the burgers Pit cooks sometimes.
On Samus's side, she learned to bake cakes and cupcakes from

, much to Pit's delight. He loves the strawberry and vanilla-flavored ones the most.

During the apocalypse that is Galeem's attack,

was trying to save

by using a badge he used in Subspace Emissary, while she was sleeping, but sadly it failed for both, as they were the last fighters to be Ko'd. At least Kirby survived and saved them much later.

were trying to run from Galeem's attacks, but they got defeated just after

did. Peach got Ko'd first, with Mario being horrified by what has happened. He got Ko'd shortly afterwards, but not without jumping one more time.

Both Inkling Girl and Pit are best buds, as they love puns, jokes, food, rock music, fighting and SSB. Inkling Girl seems to want to be more then friends with Pit. It's just that Pit is oblivious.

doesn't want to hear it. This is why we are not getting any new guidance's (Pit: "(sarcastically) Thanks Viridi")

Despite misconceptions, Mario and Sonic are great friends. Meanwhile,

To finish my head cannon off, some of the assists, while wanting to be playable, are still proud that they made it in. This includes Shadow, who has been friends with some of the assists. They are also friends with the smashers (mostly). Rathalos is still an aggressive creature, since he is a boss and an assist, but he gets along with Ridley very well.

Ganondorf is a massive fan of F-ZERO, with Captain Falcon being his favourite racer. In fact, he's such a big fan of Captain Falcon that he went through the trouble of mastering some of CF's iconic moves. When he first joined Smash in Melee, the fighter he was most excited to meet was of course, Captain Falcon.

This is my headcanon, though it may make a few references beyond the 4th wall though and only focusing on the main fighters (So no spirits or assist trophies). Here's to hoping I still have a creative touch here.

The Smash Roster lives in what could be described as a large tower building in an apartment style within the realm between universes, ran by two specific individuals who can detach their hands respectively (hence Master and Crazy Hand), and are the ones responsible for sending out invitations to those they deem worthy of the Super Smash Bros. competition they hold annually, to see who's the strongest.

Thus far those who have taken the champion title are

,

, and

, though everyone seems to have upped their game, so there's no idea who will take it now.

As for what goes on between the fighters, there's a lot to unpack here:

were at one time fierce rivals, and still are in the ring, but outside of the ring, they've gotten along much better, but still have that competitive vibe between the two in nearly everything. The rivalry, even if only perceived, has become famous not just in the roster, but supposedly the entire multiverse as well.

and

have a similar thing going on, only this time they always were friends, but they constantly wonder who's the better of the other. Recently though, Ike has also been caught in this, leading to them constantly fighting to figure out whose the best out of the three, especially in the ring.

supposedly made a few enemies with the other girls, most notably with

,

, and

. However, only one of those is true, as she gets along very well with

, whom she treats like a little sister at times.

though, they like to play upon the two being rivals of sorts as well as use such to scare the hell out of

, but in reality they like to have girl's night outs on occasion. It's with

she's on bad terms with, as she supposedly tried to steal

from her, which led to the two having a large squabble that

had to break up. This led to the two not showing each other mercy in the ring since.

doesn't say it fully, but he actually has a bit of a crush on

are actually the Pokemon of two very skilled trainers who are top players at a certain fighting game, and are actually not in the ring when their pokemon enter it, rather they are outside of it. (Cookie to those who guess who I'm referring to).

has sort of the same thing going on, except their trainers are busy most of the time.

are actually a couple, who love Pokemon battles, often swapping each other out in order to enjoy it to the max.

used to spend his days alone, trying to make himself braver and better his skills. This backfired when he nearly died, but was saved by

. Ever since then, he's looked up to Simon, hoping to gain the courage to thank him as well.

are from alternate universes, the main difference being from had

pursued his medical degree instead of going the Mushroom Kingdom for the first time, an apparently life-changing decision.

is actually the reason why Waluigi is not in the Roster, as the high powers along with many others believe that the duo would cause too much trouble, given

has a massive gas problem, especially with how he managed to weaponize his farts.

is still trying to learn english, so he sounds weird sometimes when he speaks it. He's glad that

is back though, especially since he feels like he had something to do with him being expelled from the roster for awhile.

got into the roster thanks to

has found herself struggling even more since her husband joined, though

himself is taking the competition by storm. It's due to this, that many of the other fighters have gone under the assumption that

was very reliant on her husband to excel in the competition.

may seem polite on the surface, but she actually has a bit of a sailor mouth when she gets too angry, and she basically becomes another person in these scenarios. It actually scares some of the other fighters.

act in such kindred spirit some of the other fighters think they are brothers. This just confuses them for the most part.

also HATES being called short.

also has a bad habit of overeating too, actually on par with

in that regard.

also love playing D&D and Pathfinder on Saturdays. Sometimes

join in though, and it makes things very hectic.

is extremely attached to

, though as to why it's best not to say why.

doesn't mind a bit either, as she acts like a surrogate mom to

is often a prankster, usually in conjunction with

is also extremely convinced that

is his mom given she is a dragon herself, often leading to awkward moments that she's annoyed, yet flattered by.

And of course,

just goes around helping everyone with things and keeping the place tidy. Rumor has it though that she was put into the roster by accident, but the powers-that-be decided to keep her in there as a joke. She's also unintentionally the one responsible for the rumor flying around about

's dark secrets.

Another head cannon about World of Light, this time being about a certain spirit

The Spirit being none other then...... Tabuu, the main villain of Subspace Emissary

While Tabuu earlier succeeded in turning characters into trophies, until they got revived, and later Tabuu got defeated, but not destroyed.

As years pass, Tabuu prepares himself for another battle against the heroes and villains of SSB, but with newcomers and returning characters arriving, Tabuu knows that he cannot win alone, but he decides to have some friendly fights.

Unfortunately, another villain is on the horizon, Galeem. As the fighters try to stop Galeem and the Army of Master Hands, Tabuu tries to use the remains of the Subspace Army to help take Galeem down. This is how Galeom is recreated.

Just then, Galeem's beams defeats ALL THE PLAYABLE FIGHTERS IN ONE HIT, Except for

, who escapes. Unfortunately, Tabuu and the Subspace Army where amoung the firsts ones to turn into spirits. It gets harsher for Tabuu as another villain, Darkon arrives and takes Tabuu, along with some more spirits away from Galeem. Thankfully Tabuu was rescued by the fighters, just before the Battle against Marx.

: Mr. Game & Watch is curiously fond of Dark Samus, mainly because of how their bodies are both made up of a mysterious otherworldly substance, with Dark Samus is the mutative, highly radioactive "Great Poison" known as Phazon, and with Mr. G&W is the primordial copy-producing Shadow Bugs, much known for its key involvement in the Subspace event as it was used by Tabuu to create his grand army of monsters. Usually, Mr. G&W would offer her to hang out with him after Smash matches, but she never seems to be particularly interested (...What if this curiousness develops into a possible crush?).

: Cloud & Isabelle are very good friends with each other. This little friendship between the secretary and the SOLDIER came to be ever since they were paired together for a Team Battle match against

and

. Unfortunately, Isabelle was too overwhelmed by the fierce combination of the latter team with Bowser's brute strength & fire-breathing, along with Wolf's cunning speed & vicious combat skills. And so, it caused them to win the match overall, with the secretary being very saddened & disappointed in herself as she couldn't really do much in the battle or even help out Cloud when he really needed it. However the spiky-haired swordsman thought of a way of cheering her up, by helping her out with improving her skills in battle through training at the Gym.

and Morgan (male) all come from the timeline in Awakening where Chrom dealt the final blow to Grima, because he didn’t want to lose Robyn.

comes from the timeline where he dealt the final blow, fading from existence, only to reappear sometime afterward without the Mark of Grima. As a result, the Smash Lucina isn’t the same one he knew, but they became friends nevertheless.

Also, because of the former part, both Lucina and her baby brother Morgan have the Mark of Grima. The former tries to hide it from everyone except her roommate in Smash City, Zelda. She told

about it too when she and him became a couple.

Speaking of Captain Falcon, nobody except Samus, Snake, and his own lover Lucina know about the Horrific Grand Finale and how it led to the birth of his evil clone, Blood Falcon.

You mean the Golden Wolf/Hero's Shade and OoT/MM Link being one and the same, right? Well, even if you can hand-wave the hodgepodge Zelda representatives from all over that series' convoluted timeline, I challenge you to explain

both being present and in their physical prime without invoking time travel or timey-wimey balls; Richter is Simon's great-great-great-grandson! Daisy is always snarky, when she's upset she's snarky with a battle axe in her hand.

And omg yes Ken and Richter is amazing.

Some more Echo Fighter headcanons:

-Lucina and Richter are amateur magicians/illusionists. They're not great at it, but they're amazing at showmanship.
-Dr. Mario is an honorable Echo Fighter and a sort of weird uncle to them. Luigi despises it because it means his brother is better at being a clone than him
-That said, Dr Mario only hangs around at the Echo's that much because each of them is a first aid disaster waiting to happen
-Echo Fighter Chrom is from the same timeline as Male Robin, Final Smash Chrom is from the same timeline as Female Robin. Lucina is the daughter of Final Smash Chrom, but considers Echo Fighter Chrom to be her dad as well.
-Ken is the big brother of the bunch. The Echoes look up to him but Ken is also on his fair share of bs
-Dark Pit plays guitar, but only knows how to play his own theme.

I found the name.
Basically, Aeon from Judgement summoned both into the world of Smash to prevent Dracula,Galleem and Darkhon from taking over that reality.

Worth to note that this wouldn't count as a time travel and more as a Dimensional one.

I think the fact PP is unlocked after unlocking your first 10 characters (which is all in the Light Realm iirc) would imply it’s under Galeem’s control, but that’s just me

I had a further epiphany as to why the 7 Echoes are under Dharkon’s control - they live in the shadow of their original.

I know, really lame pun

Also, speculative headcanon - if Elma were to get in with Mecha-Fiora as her echo (Chrom gives her some hope at having a chance imo), Fiora would be the only Echo under Galeem’s control, and Elma the only “original” of the original to Echo duos under Dharkon’s control. Fitting too since Elma is a Dark elemental DLC Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Well for Daisy it's because her third eye was the origin of Dharkon's power

Also, speculative headcanon - if Elma were to get in with Mecha-Fiora as her echo (Chrom gives her some hope at having a chance imo), Fiora would be the only Echo under Galeem’s control, and Elma the only “original” of the original to Echo duos under Dharkon’s control. Fitting too since Elma is a Dark elemental DLC Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
