Anyone living in ARIZONA or MAINE want to have a SSB 64 tournament???

People say that they "rock" at this game but once they have played me or my friends, they think otherwise.

darc play kirby and up tilt and bair that's what i do + a few more things

kirby is easy mode for smart ppl who don't want to put time into the game

but pikachu fox and probably falcon are better at high level than him that's the catch

In ssb64.....ness is by far the hardest player to play with but once you've mastered him down, he's the best.

Pika is still the best, Ness gets gimped too much. And M2K is right, I just started playing SSB64 pretty heavily, picking up Kirby can make you good off the bat if you've played Smash before. The other characters are a lot more difficult to master.

Pika, Fox, Kirby, and CF are all definitely better than Ness, and probably Mario too.

Well, for perspective, Sensei mostly beat up on PC at Smashageddon.

PC's combos are insane, but he doesn't play enough to understand the approach game as well as 64 specialists. At least that's how I saw it.

Ness is bad because of his recovery, go to the SSB64 forums if you honestly feel the need to learn about the game.

His DJC game is superb, but yeah besides that a ness of the stage is donezo.

The tier list in 64 is basicly based on recovery, so no Link can't be higher, even if he has an awesome ground game, just a few grabs and edge guard and he's done for.

Kirby is lower then fox and mario, but highger then CF.

The tier list would be more like this:

Ness
Yoshi
Jiggli
Luigi ( I put luigi worse then jiggli, simply because I don't play him and I really don't know about this one.)

Samus

Imo, DK needs higher, but his recovery is awfull.

wow, I didn't think Mario was that high. I knew you could play him really campy and gay, but I didn't think he was good enough to go over Kirby and CF. I also thought for sure that Link's on stage game was good enough to at least lift him over Samus, but that might just be that I mostly watch Sensei play and he seems to love playing Link and generally kick *** with him.

Samus, ground game is only tech chase and spacing. Far easier and more concluent then link's ground game.
