Neh.. well, he's just the most popular. So in that sense "king" means most well known. For all we know there could be tons of way more amazing Mewtwo players out there, they're just not involved with the tourney scene. There is no king, only Mewtwo. And Arceus.

Okay in all seriousness, if we need a motto, I was thinking a pun along the lines of one of Mewtwo's most famous...lines.

I posted something silly a few lot of pages back (attached) that played off of this quote.

We could probably reshape it to something like:

"The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is how long you can resist imminent destruction that determines who you are."

This would be assuming that we're targeting outsiders with the motto.

The Four Horsemen of the Mewpocalypse shall have a friendly alliance with said Mew2 Squad, but still retain the right to remain a separate entity (i.e., no fringe benefits for non-believers!)

I would never be jealous of a squad that treats fellow kinsmen lower than them. Title and rankings are all blasphemy. We are all brothers and comrades that serve Mewtwo.... why must we treat ourselves as if we're better than our own kind? Mewtwo is the only one that is above us. Nobody else shall and will be. Mewtwo is a sacred existence that is the only one that deserves to be above everyone else. We are all under Mewtwo. We are all the same. We must not treat our own blood as if they're under us.

The Mewtwo squad sounds interesting, just wouldn't know what I'd be in there. I'd likely be a mercenary, as I DO have other characters I play too, and don't plan on abandoning them. I'll likely play some MK and Lucina before Mewtwo releases so I still have some experience with them before I switch over to Mewtwo for a bit.
Huh...I kinda wonder how the 3 would interact.

Also, you just reminded of the time I completely demolished a really bad Greninja player on For Glory. I two-stocked him and ended the match with 0%, essentially a perfect play. But, the best part was when he called me a scrub and left. Spent a good few minutes laughing at that one.

I feel my role in this kind of quad might be a Bard or something. I won't be our lord Mewtwo all of the time, but as my other characters I can go round singing songs of praise and bring awareness to Mewtwo's greatness.

Also, you just reminded of the time I completely demolished a really bad Greninja player on For Glory. I two-stocked him and ended the match with 0%, essentially a perfect play. But, the best part was when he called me a scrub and left. Spent a good few minutes laughing at that one.

One FG match I was Wario against Rob. Managed to hit about 10 F-airs in a row, gimped him out of his fuel, then Chomped while off the stage, and made it back with 0%.

I've never seen a more honest rage quit.

Everybody should follow this man's example. There should never be a hierarchy. We must not have anybody except Mewtwo above us, and nobody should be under us. Different roles, however, is perfectly fine. One can spread Mewtwo's greatness, or one can assert Mewtwo's dominance by destroying the battlefield. The ways to serve and assist Mewtwo is endless... a ranking system should not be one of them.

We might also need:

- Perfect Shield
- Spot dodge
- Air dodge
- Roll

Now everyone gets a spot! If we run out, take moves from his learnset in the most recent Pokemon gen!

Speaking of salt, just now on FG I was on my second match with a decent Ganondorf. I wasn't paying attention but the match started and I was at 38%. He decided to side-B, I spot-dodged, and he descended right into his doom. Not going to lie but I found it hilarious and taunted (I was Pit btw).
Felt slight regret afterwards.
He comes back like a true sodium warrior and starts throwing random smashes and f-tilts. I manage to get him off stage with an F-Throw, shot him out of his second jump with an arrow and Fair'd him.
He didn't make it back. I Side-taunted. Still felt the necessary regret.
Needless to say he left immediately.
