Please no...
Sonic is unbearable in this game...>.<
Not really where Im getting at.
I mean Sonic was just given more options than he had in brawl. And I hope Mewtwo gets a similar treatment.

And why do a lot of people dislike Sonic? lol
Is it his damage output?

I heard about him doing a Mario Party 10 video, and besides, it's Youtube Copyright Problems all over again, Wiidude said it's easy to get your stuff back
The problem is Joe has to give up some of his revenue to Nintendo if he wants to keep up with the Nintendo videos. No other company does this. Not EA. Not Activision. Not Ubisoft. If they were doing what Nintendo were doing with Youtube I'd bet £100 they'd be getting so much backlash as a result whilst Nintendo are getting a free pass.

Do they have a right to be *****? Sure. But that doesn't mean they should.

Why do you guys all think Diddy's getting a huge nerf? And how did they nerf Greninja :O?
Because everyone ******* about Diddy being top tier so him getting nerfed is expected.
Greninja got nerfed into oblivion.

Super duper endgame spoilers!
Shulk and the rest of the party fight the final boss in space, you can even see Jupiter and Saturn before you get to him iirc
Is it explained why they can all breathe in space, or is just a case of Batman Can Breathe in Space?

EDIT: Wow, that was a bad error on my part.

More lag on his moves, Usmash has no interrupting frames, all his moves weaker
Looking at the patch notes though, only Up-Smash and WS got end lag nerfs (both of which still seem to be great tools). Everything less seems to have been either fixed for have gotten minor buffs in addition to minor nerfs for the same move.

I don't get the extra salt compared to Rosalina/Shiek/Little Mac/Dedede/etc. who got straight nerfs. Greninja's still a great character.

Because Greninja keeps getting nerfed, that's why people are salty

That's one thing that's bothering me about the patches. Yes, patches are good if there are game-breaking glitches, or if a character is completely overpowered. However, I'm seeing a growing trend of people just asking for a nerf instead of tips to get better.

I mean, why bother getting gud against Diddy when he'll just be nerfed in the next patch? If we complain enough, then Nintendo will SURELY patch everything we deem bad about the game. I bet $200 that after the next balance patch, people will still complain about another character THEY deem as "overpowered", instead of taking the time to practice and getting good against said character. It's almost as if patches are indirectly influencing bad play and unnecessary dependability.

Rant over. I hope no one get mad at this...

That's true for people like my friends, but when a character is noticeably stronger than most, something needs to happen. Diddy may be easy to gimp but his combos are strong as hell

I can never see Greninja the same after the fan-boy tears bull**** they pulled on us and tried kicking us when we were down by trolling us that Mewtwo had no chance.

Look who has the last laugh now. Personally I want to kick Lucarios and Greninjas a**** with Mewtwo.

Diddy isn't at Brawl Meta Knight levels of OP but he could use some slight adjustments.
Otherwise that's basically the truth.

I apologize on behalf on the idiots who spoke like that. I accidentally spoiled myself with Greninja but I thought "Mewtwo could still happen, and besides, why be a ****?"

Next patch:
"Captain Falcon and Shulk are too OP!"
As they should be

My friends legit think Shulk is OP solely based on range and Vision. I tell them his attacks have pretty bad endlag but they say "We don't really see that" Then one of them plays as Mario and says Shulk is better
Grab during the Vision animation which lasts for a very long time initially.
Counters are painful to Shulk.
Take advantage of the current Monado Art in play.

Lol. It's funny how people think because a character has a powerful move they think he's OP. I remember back in the Brawl days I'd get really mad at my brother for spamming the Tornado with Meta Knight and I'd always complain about him being overpowered

Oh, wait...

I dunno about Greninja not being that gutted after the patch. Yeah, he only gained endlag frames on WS and usmash but he also lost KO power from fair/uair/sourspot usmash without much to compensate for that (and those were amongst his best tools for KOs). Buffs were shadow sneak endlag reduced and dsmash a little stronger but when you lose the windbox strength on Hydro Pump, gain more endlag on your main KO move and your main approach/poke move, lose KO power on both of your KO aerials, lose reliable combo potential, and lose shadow sneak techs like running shadow sneak (which could KO after a WS) or fast falling shadow sneak (a decent mixup) or the ability to cancel landing lag with shadow sneak (which was amazing for baiting shield grabs/punishes), you can't deny the character was gutted and the nerfs outweigh the small buffs since the nerfs affected a fundamental part of the character.

So yeah, I get why Greninja players (myself included) were pretty annoyed at what had happened.

Yeah, I'll be totally honest, greninja was just a lot more fun to play before the nerf. I mean, he's still a good character, but it just will never feel the same. (R.I.P Dair shadow sneak cancel.:c )

Greninja lost speed and KO power on his main kill moves. Range on his spacing tools. And his combo game got nerfed. Also most of his cool techs and tricks got removed (although it was obvious they weren't intended so I don't blame the team for removing those).

The small buffs he got don't compensate what he lost to be honest. He's still a good character though and really fun to play as.

But the running joke is the fact that even when he's this nerfed he's still the char topping the nerf list every single patch out of the cast.

Bwaah you leave Lulu out of this! T____T
Lol, jk. Wail on him all ya want.

You know what I think? I think they should buff the weak characters rather than nerf the strong ones. Brawl Minus has taught me that it's more fun to have a lot of powerful characters duke it out than weak ones who chip away at health.

Why is no one talking about Lucario's nerf? He got one of the worst. You used to be able to SOMEWHAT combo out of Extremespeed and now you're 90% open to getting your *** kicked. That was a sad day..

That was annoying. Now I have to aim at the empty areas of a stage or get hella punished...
