Ganon canon is best canon.

Although, I was disappointed with the Sonic one. Snake's codec for Sonic was 10 times better, especially in the context of the Japanese version.

I've been reading 4chan lately (unfortunately) and christ oh mighty, they're incredibly assblasted over these. Tons of complaints about how Snake's codecs were better, how they should of done this with Doc Louis or something, etc.

I think they're fine, personally. The only thing really missing for me is Ali Hillis as Palutena (I know Brandy Kopp is trying her best, but it just ain't the same).

Its because nostalgia is really something that is a huge problem for games,sometimes people can't accept fresh and new things.

But in another point of view I agree with doc louis one,but at the same time little mac is mute it wouldn't work.

Viridi is sorta right. The only Ganon that wasn't a reincarnation came from Four Swords Adventures.

FSA Ganon is the only Ganon that was a reincarnation instead of just the same one resurrected/unsealed.

In A Link to the Past, Twilight Princess and Wind Waker respectively, all three of those Ganons are the same one as Ocarina of Time, just shifted in timelines. In all three of those timelines, Ganondorf is killed in those respective games. Ganon is revived in Oracle of Ages/Seasons (and by extension, may not be considered a different Ganon, just mindless).

The official historia for Hyrule states that Ganon was ressurrected in every instance except for Four Sword Adventure where he was reincarnated. But it doesn't explain Ganon's appearance in the original Legend of Zelda where no sense of "reviving" was done. So far he's "died" instead of being sealed in A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Four Swords Adventure.

It's a hard topic to tackle, but the Kid Icarus cast IS almost right. Not every Ganon in the games is different.

I really don't mind so much the different voice actresses. With Ali Hillis all I hear is Liara, who's one of my less liked characters generally. I dunno.

And the more I see these, the more I'm certain that they're better than Snake's.. Some aren't quite as good but in general these are way more entertaining

I'll just say both Snake and Pit's conversations are funny.

They both have different kinds of humor, though, so I can see why some may like the former more than the latter and vice versa.

Snake's codecs humor is usually at the expense of the absurdity of a more serious character like Snake facing Nintendo characters, while Pit's conversations use the same witty humor of Kid Icarus: Uprising, which is more tongue-in-cheek, parodying common storytelling tropes, or in this case, the other characters themselves. They also poke fun at the fanbase itself.

As I thought, because Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Robin have a gender selection as an alternate costume, the Palutena's Guidance taunts either refer to them without genders (Villager, Robin) or give separate conversations for each gender (Wii Fit Trainer).

Of the ones with different characters as alts, Olimar is spoken of as the space guy (since he can be Alph) while Bowser Jr. get a unique conversation for himself while his alts (the Koopalings) kinda share the same conversation (but which is different from Bowser Jr.'s).

I was at least expecting Viridi to fan girl over him a bit, since he saves woodland critters all of the time. Maybe think about recruiting him as an officer, but then Sonic chimes in and is like "I have no master - except the wind that blows free!".

A few missed opportunities: Not talking about creepy villager/killager meme, not mentioning the Ice Climbers' absence or Charizard now fighting alone, etc. Also when talking about Sheik, I thought the mystery of her identity thing would be followed up by someone mentioning Sheik and Zelda fighting each other.

But overall, I liked these a lot, and Im pretty glad Palutena's isnt the same as their convo in the trailer

Well, the conversations do imply that Smas takes place after Uprising with Dark Pit joining the Forces of Nature and all.

Then again, it takes place after the Subspace Emissary too...

I want Gamondorf to have a move called "Ganon Canon". The Koopalings and Mr Fit have codecs but did Wire Frame Mac and Alph have codecs? It would be cool to have codecs on Yellow Devil, Ridley, and Metal Face, too.

And sadly no Hades, Medusa, or other Uprising characters :/. It would of been fun to see other characters from other series as well such as Reyn, Adam Malkovich, Zero, Dr. Robotnik, Slippy, and Professor Oak. Oh well...

Alph's is the same as Olimar's. And I agree. I'm a bit disappointed. They're still fairly funny, but yeah. I'm not sure how you could have codecs on those hazards, though? Pit only gets one for the opposing playable character. Not that I'm against the idea of course. Maybe they could just be DLC videos for fun?

Wow. Wario's character in Smash couldn't be butchered even further. I love these guidances and all, but Wario's is easily the worst. I know these conversations are supposed to be light hearted here, but why do they have to focus on Wario's gross nature? That's not the central aspect of his character at all. They could at least mention him being a greedy treasure hunter with physical strength and different abilities plus owning a game company. But this here is just absolutely pathetic. Poor Wario.. He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. At least the other ones are great.
