I have serious SERIOUS doubts we're getting a gen 8 pokemon as DLC, or any first party actually.

I've thought about the same thing too, we had a general thread about any of the gen 8 pokemon, but I'm really expecting the gen 8 pokemon to be one of the fighters coming right after the fighters pass DLC, just hoping it will come after two.

Yeah, I doubt he doesn¨t have inside sources when he was able to predict the whole FF bundle... So he could easily just messing around like always

If we get a SE character revealed today I'm just gonna celebrate that this nightmare is over and we can freaking move on onto other character speculation lol. I have my high doubts of a character being revealed outside of the direct being so close to it now already… but if something happens today i hope it's the SE one and it's all finally over, god…

I don't think anything will happen today. The Square Enix presentation is on Monday.

We'd more likely get something Smash related for the Smash Tourney than a SE presentation. Nintendo does their own thing, and this is a Nintendo event. Though frankly, saying more than "we'll have more Smash news coming up" feels extremely unlikely here.

Agree, based on what he Sakurai said I think only one DLC character will be revealed at E3. Not two like everyone thinks there will be.

Not really, unless youre impatient. I will say i did hope they'd reveal both at e3 tho.

Consider how most of SSBU's base newcomers were clones of some sort.

Considering the time schedule, I can´t see how it won¨t be two unless the release date has been pushed back to be perfectly frank. It was 6 months since Joker was revealed, and it took 5 months to have him being released. Having just one being announced and not being revealed would not make sense unless. like I said earlier the fighters pass has been delayed. Shadow drop one of them and announce the third for a later date.

Yep, nothing, just like I thought lol it made no sense to waste a reveal shock value outside of the main nintendo direct, at a tournament event that not everyone was even watching to begin with.

It’s interesting perhaps it means Nintendo is aware of the leaks and they(leaks) will be proven wrong. Or it means he’s not telling all the truth and there will be two DLC reveals. The fact Sakurai deliberately pointed out the fake Smash ball is very interesting.

While I would love to have an unexpected reveal, I wish either Banjo or Erdrick are revealed so we can just move on.
