Mmm.. you have an excellent Megaman, I have nothing to say. You're the first Megaman I've seen that uses lemons like that, really like the playstyle and your grab mind games xD.

I really have a lot of problems with shield grabbing as Shulk, and that's a thing ive been trying to improve but its quite hard.

Everyone says leaf shield sucks but i love that move, especially against heavy characters. I use Leaf Shield to down throw and up smash and if they don't jump out of it i keep using up smash. But leaf shield is great but so underrated, though it becomes predictable if you use it too much, i mostly use it on low % to combo and rack up damage. I need to use my grab s more often.

Yeah, lemons... god I love that move. It's right up there with the Mega Upper. I'll work on using the leaf shield a bit more.

Edit: Good games, man. I have to play with the streamer now. I'll have to keep battling you to find a good way around very campy playstyle.

I also wanted to try Sonic to see if his side B gets around MegaMan's A attack at all. Looks like his B is the best way to get through!

I have to say... I'm pretty bad at Mega Man dittos. It feels like such a stalemate...

Edit: Yeah, no problem. I play a pretty defensive Mega Man that can wall you out. Then I move in when I feel the time is right. I think I'm getting tired though, because I didn't really feel like I could do what I wanted to do in terms of inputs, especially on the offensive side. Sonic's B is the best way to get around the lemon wall, but it can be punished hard, so I'm not sure if it's the answer in the matchup. I didn't know you could jump like that with his side-B though.

I'm usually a little more offensive. But Iunno. I just wasn't feeling it . I also think I fool myself into thinking I'm playing against my own play style when I do dittos, so I try to be as safe as possible knowing how I punish and go offensive with Mega Man.

Haha, I could tell you were starting to get more aggressive as the match went on. I'd say we're on equal footing as far as MegaMan goes, but as far as a good player in general goes, you're better. I don't deal with camping well aside from trying to lure an opponent into close range.

By the way, how did your match with @ Windmaster012 go? Did you mirror against him as well?

Thanks for the compliment... I guess. ^^; I don't really know what you mean by "good player," as I thought you dealt with our dittos much better than I did (besides the few mistakes that led to punishes).

I like his Shulk. I've never played against a decent one before, so it was a good experience. I walled him out pretty hard and he had trouble killing me which led to shielded kill moves which led to mega uppers. We mirrored and he showed me a little leaf shield pressure, but I got my grabs in and traded his lemons with charge shots. He's got a good Mega Man, but I just can't see Mega Man being the offensive monster people want him to be. His close range/combo game is very subpar other than his grab follow ups.

Edit: I'm curious to see your Mega Man against... a non-mega man. I've been working on a Shiek, so if you're up for it, I could go a couple matches before bed. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll find some another time to spar.

You knew better than I did when it was a good time to go in after creating pressure. I didn't and it led to the punishes that ultimately put me 6 feet under haha. I actually wish I had a replay of the first match, because I don't know how I won that one nor remember everything about it.

Yeah, unfortunately with MegaMan you DO have to rely on a LOT of projectiles, and against good reflecting characters, his close range is hard... I usually just try to slide+grab and back air people off stage...even then it's not even a guaranteed kill if you don't sweet spot it ..

Yeah, back air is a fantastic move. But it's hard to land on anyone that's grounded without telegraphing it pretty hard. I guess I don't give the slide enough credit, but in a ditto, I guess the worst thing that happens after a slide is a grab.

I've had trouble edge guarding Mega Man successfully... Just a timing issue with Rush, since it boosts him up so fast. Iunno. Maybe I just need sleep. -_-
