lol so i mapped out the STARS venue to see if i could take the bus next time. by car, the shortest route is 40 minutes. by bus the shortest route is 3 hours and 15 minutes XD

There was about 20 people there total. And we had a total of 7 TV's. 2 Halo setups. 2 Tekken. 3 Smash.

Everything ran smoothly. It was mostly school friends and people who were interested in playing those games. It's was a all night party lol. Around 1am there was a random *** dance competition. xD

Someone brought a couple jabbawockeez lookin masks and S-Man was like..... LET'S GET IT!

Shaden of course won Smash. Somehow I made second.

Me and G-Mon ***** Halo. (Even though there was only 2 other teams xD)

Tekken Pitzer won. Lili shenanigans.

Good luck with the next one. Just be careful and acknowledge what you're dealing with and don't get too ambitious too quickly with expansion. You'll stretch yourself too thin, exhaust yourself (thus damaging the quality of future ones, as far as you trying/caring anyway...trust me), and/or be disappointed.

A guarantee that I can get at least 35 people per tournament.
A co-host, as my Brawl is broken, and will not be able to provide a set up for Brawl until I get that fixed. (its a bad break too, weird things freeze the game, like picking Samus)

Richmond, unless someone can recommended a better area. I will host where ever the best turnout will be.
My real hope is to get the hotel to instead of giving us a flat fee to allow us to pay them based on door fee per month, giving them a steady income that they don't generally have. It worked in Florida before I moved, and I expect that it would work here as well. However, if they do give me the useual fee of 200 dollars, then I will require that at least 35 people be there with a door fee of 5 dollars, because anything more than 25 dollars being spent per tournament just seems too much to me. I may ease up on it by advertising to the Street Fighter and Blazblue/Guiltygear crowd as well to help us meet cost.
