You should do a 5 dollar venue fee, 10 dollar entrance fee for singles and another 10 for doubles??
I mean... you normally charge like 5 an hour anyway, and people are getting a lot less than an hour playtime at the PlanetX tourney, and with multiple TV's, things get done quicker, plus running a tourney can most likely be run by 2 people, so the human cost in my opinion isn't that high..

Anyways, that is a much happier pot than 5 dollars a person... and if PlanetX needs to grab more money then there can be a second venue fee x_X;, but then I don't know if your crowd wants to spend 30 dollars.

either that or just one 5 dollar venue fee while everyone pays 5 for singles and another 5 for doubles. But I could be being ridiculous =].

A tourney is usually fun.. some ppk are expected to win more then other ppl

but it might be an upset or something....and we practice before the tourney
together but i'm not sure if we are doing that at planet x.....first smashboard tourney there

but umm with it being your first time I would just try to meet everybody
and freshen up your skills and see how far u can get in the tourney

yeah the more tournies you go to, no matter how many people, or how good or bad your opponents are, you gain a LOT more experience then playing friendlies and such.

I'll be back in Ann Arbor in the fall and so will scotu and ankoku. scotu and I currently live about 20-30 minutes away from AA if you guys ever want to smash.

Well still.. you're gonna be sitting watching for about an hour per person, and I dunno if fire wants to get continously beat... cause I'm sure Mikey, Scotu, Lain(most likely -.o), and Ankoku if you play smart this time will take cashes =p...
We need somewhere we can just smash afterwards or something... cause I really don't want to deal with bringing our own tvs and have to pay 4 dollars an hour per person to use them... that's MM money right there. >.>... or watch the same 2 people play for an hour at a time with Fire being one of the 2 in every match XD.

Remember that wednesdays are our Fight Club days... 10$ at 5:00 gets you the rest of the night on the projector, or if you want to bring your own stuff thats cool too, we have plenty of table space. Usually we play all manner of fighting games (like GGXX, 3S, import naruto games, Samurai Spirits, etc.), but if you guys are planning on pretty much taking over the store on wednesday, rest assured, we can accomodate you.
