You know what, before I go on a long rant that I'll probably regret typing up, I'll just say "@#$% it" because 99.9% of everything I do is ********. Since I already went through the trouble of putting this up, I might as well see it to the end... no reason not to, it's not like it will hurt anything.
Watch, I'm willing to bet money, that when I get frame-data, somebody will just have something to say besides "LOL D-Throw sux." I'll even quote this very sentence in that post, and the only good it will do is give me the right to say " I told you all/me so."
Or the opposite will happen, and nobody will say anything because I left it there and blah blah blah. I'm not sure which/what one will happen, but something is always going to go down when I bake up something. It always does, I don't know why, I assume it's a curse.
With this said, there's about 19 days until Christmas, 25 for New Year's Eve. Stay tuned until something stupid comes up; trust me, it's not going to be quiet this holiday season.

I have a strong personal bias against this because I dont like people ever citing matchup ratios as an argument. tbh, no matter what the average comes out to be for this thread, do you think it will change your approach to a matchup any differently? will it actually change said matchup? Im willing the bet no. It seems these lists only come of use when arguing a tier position which imo should be done from your own ideas... you dont need to conform to everyone elses opinion all the time.
When I read other character boards matchup average threads, the constant feeling I get is that they are trying to make their character look better than it actually is, the only people who are really going to truly believe that (outside of the hopelessly delusional... you should know who
) are other character mainers who know nothing about the character and will cite it as proof in an argument.
The only potential positive benefit I see is that such a list could possibly help new if they choose to pick up the character and get an idea on how they fare in general vs personal bad MU's. But if anyone is looking to pick Sonic to cover bad MU's... well lol @ that.

You must forgive me. If I came off angry, I am sorry I gave that impression. I tried to be a bit more sarcastic than anything, even though it really is the truth that most of these things end up in failures.
Haha, now I'm going to sound like I am depressed. I wonder if that's any bit true, but regardless, I'm sorry. I just get a tad annoyed that most of my efforts are in vein; no matter how hard I try to help, it makes things worse.
A lot of what I do is a mistake... but LOL, maining Sonic is considered by many, if not everybody, to be just one big mistake; yet I still carry on. I don't know why, I guess I'm just blind to the truth. I go over a lot of my past mistakes and remorse on them so much, instead of looking at the (few?) good things I do... such as taking care of a dog that my family adopted from a pound. He could've been at the pound longer, or he could've been put down because nobody would want to adopt him. Even worse, the pound could've never found him and he could've died some other, most likely gruesome way... but lucky for him, that's not the case. Hehe *tear.*
Anyway I'm going on a rant.
I guess it doesn't matter though, as long as I am happy with what I do, that's what counts. Keep those submissions coming, even if I am too lazy to update this OP, I'm keeping track elsewhere. I thank you all for your efforts so far.

Try to remember that this thread isn't suppose to allow you to dispute what other people think of matchups... I know not everybody will have the same opinion, but diversity is a good thing... imagine of Sonic didn't have all his ATs and fake-outs that he does now...? :/

Some of this might be right, but it's how I feel about Sonic match up wise. Also don't kill for me saying Sonic vs. weegee is even. I just have a good feeling that any player with proper spacing and baiting can give weegee a run for his money. Also, I am soprry haven't been on in a while. I have been too busy in school trying to get a 4.0 GPA. I'll tlel ya'll if I get it or not. At the moment, I am pretty close to my 4.0. because I have two A's and 4 B's, but thsoe big are pretty high being two or three points off from being an A. I hope I can get it.

i did not say sonic had a dissadvantage vs zelda i said
he has a dissadvantage vs shiek/zelda if bouth are being used the first to damege the second to kill its kinda hard to deal with but this everages are only each others opinions right.....
but i do think sheik and zelda should be counted toghether as well

now is there any way for us to come up with some kind of picture where we show the number of people that think each matchup is a certain number,
and the ones that have the most discrepancy (oli and rob and marth come to mind) we can talk about those and figure out why we think certain things.
i notice considerable more green in my list than most others.
