Please tell me you watch the english dubbed. I like all but Gundam IN JAPANESE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

And yes, the ending of deathnote was kinda bad, though probably essential to the plotline.

Why is it that Englished dubbed can never be done without terrible puns and unnecesary banter?

Wierd i didnt know apon my return I'd find a Sonic named thread on a Smash Bros website about anime. That is rather pecular...and kinda kool, "at the same time!"(LIKE MAGIC!!) Gundam is kool. One piece yes 4kids butcherd it. Code Greass I have no interest in. How about that erm...(darn it what do these kids watch now adays...) OHhh! How about that Bleach?

did anyone like Sonic X. First season was complete **** imo, but the first 10 eps of season 2 (with chaos and Shadow) were awesome, rest of S2 was bad and all of S3 was pretty good.

Also, @ THC: Yeah! I hate the puns that they insert in the English versions. For some reason, my brother had the urge to start watching Sonic X online, and I watched it with him cause I think I missed it when it was on TV (and the themesong annoyed me), and I cringed at some of the puns. "Eggsterminator"?? And deaths where people were 'taken away' or 'had to go' >_>

No,Snake was supposed to be in Melee,but He didn't make it because they were already too far into development. Sonic and Tails in Melee was just an April Fool's joke from a videogame magazine.

Jason Griffeth is lame. Chris Thorndike is lame. 4kids is fail. Therefore,Sonic X is a lame failure.

Soooo... Anyone else think Sonic games are gonna make a big comeback in these coming years? They're gonna have a Sonic game made by Bioware and another one is going to have a new camera/physics engine that will make the games more playable. I'm very optimistic about the new Sonic.

but, Japanese Sonic X isn't a lame failure. o_o; The few episodes where we had to watch the subbed version out of lack of English version (my brother doesn't exactly like having to read the text while watching lol) were noticeably more awesome than the English version, in content, dialogue, and music (Why does 4kids add in their own generic music?!). `.` I noticed the whole Sonic 'being cool and talking in English' thing too, hahaha.

I watched vids of Mr. 3000. He reminds me of Holy Nightmare. Holy doesn't use techs because from what I heard, he feels like he might screw up too much while doing them, or something like that. Unlike Holy, I think he might not even know about cancelling at all, and just relies on his own knowledge of matchups and punishment methods.

Of course, getting the basics down and being good with them is far more important than advanced techniques, but holy crap, if he knew about/used ASC as a damager, spin cancels, feints, and spinshot...

^Yeah I know. I noticed in one of his newer vids that almost half his damage came from grabs or combos that came directly out of a throw.

He's good, but I guess we've yet to see a Sonic that really defines his utility and strengths. We need a Tudor :O

Sonic as a character can't match MK. Their characteristics make it that way.

However, Sonic has the traits to allow you the mobility to take the focus away from the characters and onto the players, so if you can outplay your opponent, then heck, go for it.

Wow, the Japanese one was a sincere attempt to make an ending about sacrifice, love, and was almost touching. The English one used the word galaxy and friend over and over again, and almost made my ears bleed.

I'm not sure if it's directionally specific (like, front or back), but apparently Sonic can go under Zelda's Usmash with a grounded spincharge. I fought Ryoko online (Zelda/Sheik extraordinaire), and only won a few games out of the many. Also, apparently I need to learn the range for that move because I'd have the stupidest "revenge deaths" where Zelda'd do a sliding Usmash and kill me while I'm waiting for invincibility frames to go away. lol needs to get hit by more usmash ;3
