To be totally honest, when I introduced the small group of Wild Pokemon that were among those rescued from Phaaze (namely the Squirtle, Vulpix, Girafarig, Mudkip and Scyther, and previously Sparky and Pichu as well) show up, I was originally just planning on having them be a few among several Pokemon who would turn up only occasionally and introducing more random Pokemon along the way to collectively represent a fraction of the Pokemon that were actually saved from there, with the amount of dialogue and screen time each Pokemon would get varying, and most of them just serving as temporary characters.

But now I'm thinking of actually having them stay around.

I don't know if all of them will get Trainers, but I've used them the most out of any other Pokemon from Phaaze that I've had show up or mentioned in the background, I've been able to give them actual characterization as a result of that, and I honestly just like how most of their characters have turned out thus far. And with the amount of time they have been around, I also think it'd be slightly odd to just write them out at this point.
