She's lost her sight, quite possibly permanently, and you're letting the person responsible for all of it live under the same roof as her... without so much as even telling her...

...Tell me, how is that justified? That Kama simply gets to walk free here, despite her actions, with almost all of Chaldea none the wiser, and Abigail still blinded?"

Palu: "Given Abigail's powers, she could be more than capable of healing her own wounds with ease. She's... simply not confident in being able to do so yet. Her Foreigner family can hopefully fix that. Not sure how long this will take myself, but the restoration of her sight is a matter of when, not if.

As for fooling all of Chaldea, this was an intentional choice. Given the atrocities she had done under Toffee's orders, few would have agreed to letting her live had I not done this elaborate fake death when all she really needed was for someone to actually care about her. This was her one way towards redemption and, using the Servant system as an excuse, I gave her the second chance she needs.

Besides, I have never been the biggest fan of the death penalty unless I know that someone cannot possibly be redeemed. In my eyes, killing someone for their crimes is no better than letting them off scot-free, as they do not get the chance to feel the weight of their actions. This is why I opted to cursed my world's Medusa even though she was clearly a genocidal psychopath. Besides, you of all people can agree that there are indeed fates worse than death...

This was her one way towards redemption and, using the Servant system as an excuse, I gave her the second chance she needs.

Besides, I have never been the biggest fan of the death penalty unless I know that someone cannot possibly be redeemed. In my eyes, killing someone for their crimes is no better than letting them off scot-free, as they do not get the chance to feel the weight of their actions. This is why I opted to cursed my world's Medusa even though she was clearly a genocidal psychopath. Besides, you of all people can agree that there are indeed fates worse than death...
