Anne calls him out on this and insists that talk to Maddie to get her to lift the curse by now. He reluctantly agrees, groaning about how awkward said conversation going to be-

-Then they hear a knock on the door, so Sprig answers it. It turns out to be Maddie herself, carrying a basket of bread and casually stating "Got Mr. Plantar's bread order, here" while reading a card to verify the order information. Cue Sprig immediately slamming the door in fear and asking for someone to hide him-

However, she still has an idea, soshe asks Anne to give her a hand, which she means literally as she plucks some of her feathers from her hand, and then takes a strand of the fuzzy orange hair from Sprig, before tearing off one of her sleeves and using it as a pouch to wrap up both ingredients, making a new curse-
