When Hop Pop attempts to practice such dancing, he immediately trips and rolls headfirst in a fire ant hill, prompting Spirg and Polly to throw a bucket of water on his head after his eyes start burning in pain. The whole scene makes Anne wince-

-Lesson 2 is about rhythm. Anne hits a bucket with a claw hammer in time with the percussion of the training music. Hop Pop's task is to attempt the same thing, and not only is he completely out of rhythm, but he also get so frustrated that he loses concentration and accidentally swings the hammer onto his foot, crushing it and making him yell "OW!". Anne once again can only react with a look of discomfort-

Anne does a more stylized version of the basic dance movements she tried teaching Hop Pop during the first lesson, Sprig dances by doing some backflips and briefly balancing on his tongue between each flip, and Polly just dances by happily bouncing around, finishing with a breakdance-styled spin-

-Hop Pop, however...dances by literally flopping on the ground like a fish, flailing his arms and legs around while leaping in place, and then lands on one leg to strike a pose while squawking like a bird-
