-And then one day when he woke up late, he just realized it, he didn't want to go to school, so he skipped that day. He made it a habit, at first he skipped it once a week, then he skipped it once every three days, until he stopped going altogether. But even then, his parents treated him the same as always. PArt of him hoped for them to just question him, to get angry at him and tell him how pathetic he is, to just well, give up on him so would give up on everything himself... But things are different now, and just like he had a vision of Emilia, he now has one of Rem when she confessed and said that he's not one to give up-

-And then... Kenichi delivered a kick. Like the wrestling lock from before it's played for laughs saying that is his most loving father headbutt, Subaru points out that was an axe kick. But yeah Kenichi says that frankly his thinking has been pretty stupid as that there's no way he would hate him for acting like a kid his age and having doubts, if he wanted him to hate him he'd do actual crimes, saying that no one would hate his child for being retreated to a shell and if anything he'd do all he can to help out of it... But he says that by the looks of it, he's already found how to stand on his own and is proud of him-

-Now about what he's asked of there being a girl he likes... He admits that there's two of them in fact, with one admitting she loves him unconditionally, and they don't know he's the son of Kenichi Natsuki, but that he's just Subaru Natsuki and both like him that way, not because of his roots, Kenichi is glad for that and says that it's amusing they've come here just to speak of here, Subaru says "hey you still kicked me!" and and Kenichi says he's sorry, while also admitting this is his fault for not having noticed how troubled Subaru was, so he'll be sure to make it up for him-
