Meanwhile in the animal care, Subaru, Aura and Aqua see that besides a Death Knight and Hamsuke, a giant bird is there now, that being Filo, and they wonder where she came from as Subaru said they are meant to just have two pets, so Aqua of course exorcises the Death Knight to Hamsuke's horror and Subaru's subsequent scolding-

-Out of curiosity, they asked her about what kind of person Naofumi is. She says he's the Shield Hero who was summoned to her world to save it. They wonder if he's the generic type of OP isekai protagonist, she says not at all. While she doesn't delves deep into details, she tells them that he was falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit, they think that this means he's in hard mode. She clears up he can be difficult to socialize with, but he's really someone that cares... Either way, she needs to find him-

Actually, there's a fan theory where most of the Grimm species are from Salem's own imagination because the God of Darkness being creative would be an antithesis of what he's supposed to represent; destruction, while his brother represents creation.
Huh, I never thought about it like thet... But it would definitely add up thematically, and given Salem has been known to experiment and create new Grimm (the Hound being a prime example), there's definitely some more direct evidence in the theory's favor.
I think there was the scorpion and the snake between those two and Nevermores, but the giant birbs were definitely part of early V1. A giant one was actually one of, if not the very first thing Team RWBY tackled on as, well, a team.
Maybe I should just finally rewatch V1 for the heck of it... After finishing a season of Avatar, first.

I remember the team-up fight against the Deathstalker and a giant flying Grimm (don't remember what it was or what it was called, but I thought it was more like an actual bird) was pretty much what sold me on the show lol.I don't remember it being great, but it is short

-Raphtalia called her, and she dropped Subaru and Aura turning into her human form, though Aura is marveled at how she can shapeshift and wants her in her pets collection. Raphtalia asks if she's well, she replies yes, while Ainz and Subaru converse they must be looking for that one transfer student-
-But it was then that in the baseball game, Mare hits the ball way, way too hard, what's worse is that it goes in Raphtalia and Filo's direction! But that's when Naofumi reappears and protects using Air Strike Shield!-
-Wasn't enough, so he casted a second one as the first broke, even using the Soul Eater Shield to drain some SP out of it, before eventually blocking it himself and succesfully doing so. He faces his party as he tells them that it seems that for now, it'd be better to follow the rules of this world, and they both back him up, saying it's time to go-

That might add onto it, though wasn't it already established that he was jealous of all the praise, prayers and attention his brother got? Not sure a divinity being creatively destructive would get that same treatment...Unless one considers cults.
