If I didn't know any better, I'd say every poor sap who lived there all died in their sleep one night!

(It fits too well with how Star was in despair over Glossaryck's death...As for how she hasn't been drained already, it'll be partly due to one of those
anti-magic crystal cages keeping her protected from outside forces.)
