Some advice against Snake...

SNAKE IS GAY AN HIS HITBOX IS THIS ( l ) BIG!!!

Remember against Snake, you can't:
A.Jab-upB him or
B. Do anything against his f tilts other than space, jump, or shield, or shield grab after a perfect shield(or up-B or up-tilt ..ect)

um......i hav no idea onther than dont be far away, and not to close, try to hit him after he does some jabs cuz snakes tend to only use the remote rocket,mines, jabs, and mortar

hit him in intervals try to dodge and shild bunches, if u do u can hit him with his ending lag but make it quick snakes hav decent lag, play defensivley, and his knockback is huge, plus spam fireballs, so he will come to u, and spam tornado, i dont think that snakes r too good at anti spamming

Of the God Tiers, Snake IMO is the easiest for Luigi to fight. Stay at Fireball range and spam. Approach with Cyclones (especially if he tries to protect himself with Mortar Strikes). Always be ready to Shield or Spot Dodge his Dash Attacks and Dash Cancels.

Agree... I don't really have too much trouble with Snake honestly. You can nair through everything but his Utilt, and fireballs can really mess with him. His recovery makes it possible to spike with dair, and he is big enough that you can still manage to pull off uppercuts to kill at 90 ish. Point being. Luigi can handle snake just fine, if anything, I think hes an even matchup, maybe even positive, but thats just me.

Sometimes if you time it right and your floating above him, u can double jump, fastfall, air dodge, then up + b him while he's still doing his up tilt animation. Works against his mortar sometimes too.

With someone like snake i don't risk UpB's unless they are are completely spelled out for me, every attack he has is devestating, so just space and land quick blows, soften him up, get him off stage, spike.

I now know that i can spike him...THANK GOD. that makes it much easier.

But, FL is the land of Snakes, and maybe you guys havent face a dominant SNake...

Its not that easy, but i agree, much easier than Meta Knight.
I disagree with DDD an GaW being tough, Snake an DDD are at same difficulty.
GaW is easy, trust me. Just cant make mistakes...which is hard lol.

Snakes, once again, are not easy. Please dont underestimate a snake. Never.
F tilt, dash mortars, lots of C 4s play....an lots of more f tilts...

Honestly, I think Luigi was made to destory snake lmao. The only problem is being patient and not letting him have breathing room. What I find is pretty routine-ish kind of. First a Snake will go campy on the nades, c4s, landmines, missles, and all the other crap. Once you get past those, you'll be in their ftilt/utilt range. You'll have to use all of your tools to get him in the air and make him stay there.

Honestly, i dont find him hard unless im being inpatient or im having a bad day

ddd has some of the best grab range in the game, so its not hard for him to land this on you at all. someone counter picked me third match in tournament last week. he doesnt even play ddd and he was able to beat me after i ***** his snake.

THERE you go now you have heard of someone and seen a video of someone getting infinite chain grabbed. so until you realize how much harder dedede is than any other matchup for luigi, please shut up.

and keep working on the spike against snake that i showed you. maybe you will learn how to do it one day.

If you know about the infinite after the 5th grab the DDD has to hit u once to start refreshing the grab or it wont work...an Once that happen you press as many buttons as you can to get out...so, untill you find a vid that shows luigi getting infinite grabbed, please, STAND UP...(that was gay xD)

and if you know about the (key word coming up) INFINITE after the 5th grab you can keep grabbinng forever and ever. and then after the 60th grab, thats right, he can keep grabbing you.

you can push as many buttons as you want, you can get up and do a dance to try and distract your opponent, but the only way you will get out is if your opponents mess up. and where i play (socal, one of the most powerful smash scenes in the world) people dont mess up that much. and even if they only get you 5 times it still is a hard *** matchup because its way too hard not to get grabbed and try and kill the 400 pound penguin at the same time.

I still don't know why its not banned yet. It makes luigi almost unplayable in tournaments because after you beat someone they can just pick DDD and infinite you to win. A freakin 2 year old could do it.

As of right now, I agree with Themann...

I think Wobbling is amazing cuz it takes a nice amount of Sskill. It also made IC from rags to riches. The diff is DDD is not a garbage char, an can beat you without infinites, which makes this gay.

Why was Chu amazing? Because he took ICs to a whole new level, including the grab game. With proper spacing, chu might not get a grab in (m2k(marth vs chu)

With DDD....almost impossible not to get grabbed.

Well, we're going back like 6 months or so ranting about how infinite should be banned and shiz? Anyways, it's not IMPOSSIBLE to gimp DDD. I always look for a Bair stage spike, you keep throwing fireballs/bairs to waste their jumps etc etc. You just need to be patient,careful,lethal about it

in my opinion, if you knowingly take luigi in to a tournament match against a ddd, you are fairly stupid.

i play smash because its fun mostly. and that match is just not fun at all.

Does he release grab and chain grab you often? D3 isn't too hard, but slipping up usually costs you the stock if he grabs you (then again, this isn't melee).

Well, he attempts chain grabbing, but I get out of it just about all the time, and for a stading chain grab all you have to do is spam jump and you do get away from them

Well it really depends on the D3 player. But since we're talking matchup discussion wise, we're assuming both players are at equal max skill level so duh.. But since D3 has some solid tourney rankings, im pretty sure d3 players there are rapists.
