I would describe it as more dumb than bad. A lot of "omg a grill [sic]" but nothing derogatory.

I realize that's a disappointingly low bar, but after seeing a days worth of vgbc twitch chat they don't deserve a high one.

In case you weren`t lucky enough to be with us, so ummm this happened:

64 OGs walking, you know, with style, to the hotel.
*a random cat appears*
*a random Melee appears*
Cat: Meow
Melee: Hey guys, look did you see this *****?
Studstill: [instantly, from 100 feet]
"Actually man, we`re here for 64, so we have seen actual ***** before."
Melee: [says nothing, walks away, no **** literally head down]
Cat: Pwned.

edit: please let my censor dodging stand.

Entrusting yourself to irrationality is only the essence of gambling if you really believe you'll come out wealthier, which I don't think is common among gamblers. It's only believed to be popular by people who don't like gambling and think that anyone who does must be an idiot
Gambling is mostly just a direct transaction of money -> excitement. Gamblers might say things contrary to that to make themselves more excited for a big payout or something but you would have to be a complete idiot (not just irrational) to believe it. It's just another form of entertainment. Like heroin.

Hey why do people have different mains for 3DS and WiiU?

I retired from gambling as "the luck dried" (I have all sorts of hocuspocus mind you) and I didn't want to dip into the amounts I had already procured much further. I didn't need to work for over a year though so I look back on it positively. I turned hundreds originally into thousands and when I suddenly realised I was having losses approaching thousands while only being 18 I dipped.

But yes, that logic is how you justify going to a casino and not playing to win or why losing didn't matter.

But it's a quote from one of my favourite anime of all time though.

Oh and my "main" postbits are meant to be about who I play in smash across all games more so than who I use in those games (they tend to be my most used in my stats~)
Competitive wise, Pika primarily in 64 and Dedede primarily in Project-M... and a lot of pre and early WiiU was done trolling with G&W (like in every game). But I'm not playing Falco much in Melee beyond showing how easy multishining is. D3 not too much in Smash4 (still enjoy him). And Zero Suit is essentially who I'm putting the most work into and is "new" to my rotation otherwise.

So why do people in general have different 3DS/WiiU things? To similarly express character's they enjoy or some sort of personality thing. Controls are different too, so I suck using some of my favourites on 3DS and won't ever (although I don't have the game anymore).

That should have been the first thing I tried, considering just a week ago I had a file that was passworded, but windows couldn't unzip because even though it knew it had a password, it never asked me to enter it, it just gave me an error.

Windows used to be awesome when it was a goddamn operating system. Any and all problems I`ve ever had with Windows stem directly from when it tries to do things no one ever wanted or asked it to, like if your refrigerator had a microwave in it, or if your GPS started automatically recommending what color shirt would be appropriate before each turn.

Linux Mint, kids
i think gaming is the only thing keeping me from switching. linux's game library is growing but still isn't amazing, i've got a lot of stuff on steam and i imagine most of it doesn't have a linux port. indies are great at developing for linux and seems like more recent AAA stuff is getting ported too. hopefully when steamOS comes out most devs start developing for linux too, then i'll probably make the switch.

The only thing stopping me from removing my windows partition is that there are no emulator with decent netplay on linux, or I haven't found any.

Got a Wii with a busted disc drive but the Homebrew Channel is installed. Want to play Super Smash Bros. 64 on it. What do I do? Send me a PM if you feel more comfortable. BTW, I own several copies of the game so this should be completely legal.
