alright, I got like 5 minutes here and I'm gonna spend it informing you guys about ants
first off just think about ants
wow
so ants are the second coolest animal on the planet. this is partially because they make up ~20% of the mass of all land-dwelling animals on the planet but mostly because there's a lot of varieties of them so they can do a bunch of cool stuff
like raiding rival ant colonies for young to enslave. amazon ants have become so reliant on this that they can no longer feed themselves or care for their young, and survive by enslaving other ants to do those things for them
and some species force other ants to mate with their queen to create favorable cross-breed slaves
also leafcutter ants are one of the few kinds of animals to actively farm. there's a special kind of fungus that grows exclusively in their colonies, and this is their only food source. they cut leaves and bring it down for the fungus to feed on
and when honeypot ants need to preserve food for long periods of time they pick one ant and just gorge it with food until it inflates to the point where it can't move, and then when they get hungry they eat it
it's pretty metal
saharan ants are the only animal that can survive a constant body temp of 120F so they just spawncamp in the sahara and wait for **** to die so they can eat it
bulldog ants are so aggressive that if you cut its body in half the head will start attacking the tail with its jaws and the tail will start attacking the head with its stinger

First time I met with someone from smashboards
Hell first time I played with a competitive smasher IRL.
Fun stuff @ P PrestonK , the xbox controller was actually pretty good. I can't say I was as comfortable as with an n64 controller, but not gonna john, I don't think my level was really different; just a few more mistakes. It was weird to actually talk about smash/smashboards.

Fun games and it was cool meeting you. I'm glad I get to play some offline games while I'm in Asia or else I'd be going 6 long months without console or offline smash. And your spoken English isn't bad at all. It's actually really good.
Also, as we were walking along the street, Sangoku overheard two people involved in an intense argument and tried to give them infractions but I had to quickly remind him he's not a mod IRL and he can't give out infractions like that.

Dogs every day of the week, cats think they own you and much more than dogs are not accepting of new pets or humans they aren't accustomed to. In my experience it's more common to get scratched by a cat than bit by a dog. Thanks

1. i hope this isn't ordered by skill level within...ie putting GAV above MARIGUAS. like come on.
2. scrubstill forgot that he's played certain people apparently, ie fireblaster an stranded, and was demolished. also, "haven't had a legit game with kabal to prove it?" what about this?
3. i like that solo is on the list twice
4. i don't think i'm boastful at all, i'm pretty humble with regard to my smash skill...i just know i'm a thousand times better than scrubstill, and that's what makes him angry
5. this list lacks z
6. if this list were reversed and all these people were asked if they thought scrubstill were on THEIR level, i think most would say "absolutely not" and the rest would say "oh yeah he's the best in the world" for troll purposes.

I think studstill doesn't know the definition of good and it's tiring to re-write posts. But anyway I'll "quickly" do it.
To be good at smash means you can get wins. If you play seriouslies with someone and win most of the time, you're better than him (at that particular MU obviously). If you play seriouslies with someone and lose most of the time, then you're worse than him (at that particular MU obviously). Let's say I play a super technical Fox, I can shine shieldbreak easily, I've got all the techskill down, I know all the characters' and stages' technical data by heart. I play against a cheap Kirby player who doesn't z-cancel and doesn't tech and I lose most of the time, then I'm worse than him. Period. Smash levels goes as: randomkirbynoob > me.
You have to realize that being good at smash is in terms of win-loss ratio; it has nothing to do with knowledge/experience/techskill. And I'm not even trying to argue about your knowledge/experience/techskill, because even if it were the primary criterion, I still don't believe you would be where you say you are. But let's not get carried away, I don't want to argue this.
So there are few different cases now Studstill.
1) You do not agree with the definition of good.
2) You think you have 50:50 win-loss ratio against the players you listed.
3) You have a 50:50 win-loss ratio against the players you listed.
1) If you don't, then the discussion is over. It wouldn't be surprising that you don't since you don't understand that the primary use of semantics and terminology is for people to be able to communicate. But if you don't agree, then I encourage you to continue to make such claims and I encourage people to continue to laugh at said claims. As I said, I won't try to convince you otherwise in your definition.
2-3) I don't see how you could lie or be convinced about this, so let's just take a look at the results and we'll quickly see if 3 is right or not. If it's not, I fail to understand how you can justify 2 to yourself.

i'm only half in agreement with you about direct p2p games. i'd measure it with a round robin kind of thing - whoever has the ability to beat more players is probably the better player of the two, regardless of the particular head to head matchup. the miami heat lost every game to the nets this season, yet had a better record overall. just the way it goes for some teams and some players.
still, i'd put down three categories to solidly determine who's a better player of two people: head to head matchups, consistent bracket placings, and relative performance against the rest of the community. and kaillera is rough because there are no consistent bracket placings and relative performance is hindered by delay.
and before studstill says something foolish (which is inevitable), i'd like to summarize what sheer said: it's been months for stud to "warm up" and "get back to his old level" (which we all have had a laugh at by now). at this point, it's just a constant wave of johns.

Cobr: yeah I purposely stayed vague on the way to measure level, but the important part is that it's about wins and losses.
Also I don't really agree. If I beat the whole community except that I lose to you everytime, I'm worse than you, even if you lose to the whole community except from me.
