Fox is pretty good, but you need to be on point to be good with him. Being consistent with being "on point" helps as well.

Fox is a glass cannon character.

That is the nature of this character.

Deal with it.

Btw, are people who are able to use other characters at a high level a minority? I don't understand why people stick to one character. For example, if your Fox is not up to par a certain day, you can choose another character who doesn't require that sort of consistency that Fox requires.

@ -LzR- you should have told me if you wanted tips. On the top of my head, you sometimes have predictable rolling patterns and you're recovering the wrong way. Fox should stay high as much as possible and then do the "where am I going to fall" thing. That's the general idea, but then you need to mix up as much as possible so that you can't be read. Then you spam too many fsmashes.

Do you mean predictable roll patterns as in techrolls? That I can agree with. If you mean stuff like normal rolling then I surprised since I don't even know I am doing those.
That's a good tip with Fox recovering high. I always try to go low, I guess it must be a Melee/Brawl thing. I hate recovering high with characters being easily able to catch me up there. I didn't ask for tips because most people don't like giving tips or can't give good tips.
I pretty much never use Fsmash except against you yesterday. I was trying to catch your dashdance grab things but it backfired horribly most of the time.

LzR, you gotta put the time in against good players. That's the hard truth. It will be months before you feel like you can give good players a decent match, and probably years until you can actually take games off of the really good online players.

Unless you're Wilde/Killer/MATTS! and literally live on the server.

Seriosuly right now im willing to try anything. Sangoku has like blocked me for over a year. And as much as I might be a weird guy sometimes, I have no idea why he never talks to me. Or the rest of Europe for that matter. He has isolated himself completly from the whole continent. All oli want is to be friend with everyone!! <3
