the first time i did it i ended up passing out hugging the host's dog... on their laundry floor. the next few times you do it you can generally control yourself to a very small degree though =3

and sack a day*. meaning you have the whole day to spread out your drinks. apparently most people fail because they drink too much in the morning and can't finish

I am interested in Melbourne nightlife.

But I cant see how it'll beat Canberra or Cundletown at all.
mana bar.

actually any bar not named mooseheads and it wins

a sack a day seems a little more realistic. ever tried doing goon spins? you have to spin around while skulling goon from the sack. don't do it.

plenty of really good and cheap bars/pubs/clubs. i can't wait till you guys come down again

that is a damn good 1der. even beat my one:

i once called all 249 girls at a party a ***** to their face while flicking them in their forehead.

all except one girl who i instead decided to hug and told her to add me on facebook. she felt so special because i didn't call her a ***** and we dated for a bit.

your one is not bad either pete

What just happened to our social thread? I've seen some aussie takeovers before, but this is out of control.

Also, soccer sucks.

Actually, we're the ones who call it soccer, and football football, even though majority of the game is played with your hands.

So what do they call our "football"? Or do they just have Rugby?

They call it American football. And "correcting" someone on what soccer is called is really petty IMO, shouldn't do that Olikus. Yeah soccer is a worse name, but that's what an American will call it because it's already set here and calling it football will confuse others.

disproving determinism

Well even if I did, I clearly stated prior to that:
'I definitely don't show my logical side on here because its not as funny'. So bam.

Defensive play is more tactical than aggressive making it more interesting. Applies for both soccer and playing smash.

:phone:
defensive play is not more tactical. and dear god it is not more interesting. when no one is even CLOSE to scoring for 90% of the game that's not interesting at all.

*****es don't know bout afl

carn the dons

well, more like **** the pies

lol @ smoke rings
afl seemed kinda cool but i've only been to one game. collingwood vs geelong. it was pretty fun.

i finish a bottle of 25 standard drink vodka in a night out, i have it locked up. the only person who has matched me is my boss - a 19 year old girl - but since she was a girl she can't ever be a king. so STILL KING

this and the ensuing conversation explains so much of the australian posting here lol

i guess they weren't kidding when they called it "the land down under where women glow and men chunder"

Probably should've seen that coming as it's "futbol americano" or something like that in Spanish. Can't remember.

I shoulddo it to all the black people in my school and see what they say.

^maybe in your backwards country. any non-american football sucks
european football is older and bigger. you're backwards.

I know it can be confusing since this its mostly americans here (except some aussi-moments here and there). But I like calling it football anyways >=)

not sure how you're defining "older". both sports grew out of other sports from the 1800s.

according to wikipedia the FA cup started in 1871-72 and the first recognized college american football game was in 1869, but the rules of that so-called american football were way different than they are now

anyway it's kind of a pointless debate since we're talking about which sport is better and how old the sport is has nothing to do with that.

@ballin. Your comment about not coming close to scoring 90% of the game makes soccer boring would suggest that scoring goals or at least coming close to scoring is proportional to how interesting sport is. It's not about how many goals you score but rather the way they're scored. It's a simple case of quality over quantity.

@tay tay. I thought you'd never ask. I'd happily adopt you and teach you the ways of Australian culture
