Did anyone else play the Granblue Versus beta earlier today? I'm not all that familiar with GBF itself but any fighting game from ArcSys has my attention. I had fun with what little I did play as of now.

People seem to really want Erdrick, from what I've been seeing. It makes me wonder something.

Could Erdrick be in thanks to Goku requests? Erdrick is drawn and designed by the Dragon Ball artist, and it'd be a solid compromise to Goku fans who want Toriyama's designs in the game, without breaking tradition and adding an anime character.

I just love Dragon Quest a lot. But in general I have always been a big fan of Toriyama, which is also admittedly part of it lol

Doubt it, but it would be funny if those Goku requests actually DID end up influencing the roster lol. Personally I just think Erdrick is a character with a lot of potential from a franchise that I've greatly enjoyed for what little I have played.
