So Smash VR works but by lord does it make the Switch's resolution look bad.
Like watching a free camera fight through a mesh.

It's neat to see the VR experiments from Nintendo, but yeah the switch resolution is not great for it lol.

Alright, I'm finally making good progress on this *****!

I was pretty mixed about it yesterday, but now, I feel I can do something good! Especially since I got better references for the legs, so let's hope for the best!

There were so many good changes! I was super impressed.

My mains were barely touched (Shame for Charizard and Isabelle), but I am happy for those low tier mains that got their character buffed, especially for Ken mains.

Amd managing the other top tiers should be easier now.


Also, unrelated, but did Smash 4 get new modes via updates? The only one I'm aware of is Tourney mode, which sucked so much.

The mods can’t go into my video and edit it, so what is gonna happen if I step over this line that is so much further back than I ever thought it was in the past.

You're acting like we are policing speech, right after I literally warned you over a link being posted to shirtless dudes. That's far from speech policing.

It's subtle, but her name pretty much confirms her as a tragic character. Her last name is Cordelia, as a lot of the Golden Deer characters have names based on characters from King Lear. Considering what happened to Cordelia in the play...

That and according to the leak, she's marked for death from the crests. And considering there are beasts connected to the crests...well, RIP Lycithea.

That's a fair point, and it's why we have to look into context of each thing rather than infracting willy-nilly. Some scenes from Bayo would be appropriate, others wouldn't. It's a case-by-case thing, I promise.

It's why I didn't infract your post, instead giving a verbal warning so that the lewd ban is clear. I didn't read any harmful intention from your initial post, just sharing a parody that unfortunately was a bit much.

That'd make sense.

Tbh I wouldn't actually mind Goku all that much. He's a cultural figure at this point. But I think I'd rather keep Smash to video game-focused characters.

Unless he personally confirms it like he did with Mii Fighters, I don't have a reason to think Erdrick in Smash is related to Goku in any way.

I like him because I love DQ and he is far one of the best options to represent the series due to possessing a lot of different abilities both magical and physical, plus there are both male and female versions. The other heroes are good too but still the legacy aspect is stronger with them and I find Slime to be a quite limited representation of the series stronger aspects.

in any case, i'm sort of glad erdrick was leaked early because now i've had time to sit on it for months i'm pretty open to the idea - i've started noticing how pervasive DQ's influence is in both anime and games, so it definitely deserves recognition for that huge cultural impact alone

and if it turns out erdrick really is a dud and doesn't show up, no skin off my back

I mean... if we're talking about people that know absolutely nothing about Dragon Quest, then I can see that being a possibility.

Tbh, the fact that he's designed by Toriyama is one of the only reasons why I want him/her in any capacity.

Been thinking about it, and I may leave, but honestly, I’m just not super interested in the forums right now. Maybe I’ll stay. A bit hasty of me to immediately say, “Oh, yeah, I’m leaving.”
