I was searching through the files of Ultimate and found something interesting. Nothing groundbreaking, but interesting nonetheless. Just like in the Smash Bros. Ultimate sound test, the Phantom Thieves' voice lines are all in the same place as Joker's voice lines. What is interesting though is that the file names do not refer to the Thieves, and they instead refer to Joker. For example, Futaba's line: "Heheheh! They're done for!" is named "vc_jack_006_win01"

Are those the lines that are used in his final smash?

Actually, those are used for victory screens. The Final Smash voice lines are the same as the one I showed earlier but they use the word "Final" instead of "Win."

YouTube can't tell different anime styles and genres apart to save its life and treats them all like the same entity.

Yup. Every Phantom Thief has 3 victory lines while Morgana has 4.

Edit: I'm gonna look at sound files for other fighters too and see if I can find anything interesting.

Out of curiosity, was the Hero hinted by the NoA source at all? Im finding myself skeptical that Sabi still has her source and if we compare a lot of the reveals lately by her, the Nintendo ones even since the February direct are kinda vague while the Banjo one is direct and was around the time Shinobi talked.

Honestly I don't know. If they knew, Sabi wasn't able to say because of the 'C&D' from Nintendo. As Gentlepanda said, this could have been a joke one. However, from what I heard, he has only posted those pictures and those pictures alone. No memes, no silly pics, JUST those. So IDK, it's all weird.

And tbh I think Geno will be a Mii Costume again. It’s a miracle we even got Cloud and Hero, and if we were to get somehow a third Square Rep (which is probably best saved for like a second Fighter Pass) it’d be someone like 2B, Neku, or a Bravely/Octopath character. Or maybe even Lara Croft.
