Captain Marvel IMO is the worst MCU film to date. I finally felt that superhero fatigue some people claims to had been suffering from and felt like any other superhero movie with an generic origin plot. It also reeked of feminism.

What I hate most of all is the whole Nick Fury losing his eye reveal. I also hate how he was in this film gushing over some damn "cat".
Finally, someone with some sense. Except for the feminism part, there didn't really seem to be that much of it, plus I do find Bore: The Dark World to be worse

why would i want smash bros absolutely ruined
As long as Nintendo is hands on with it, a Smash movie could be smexy as hecc

I think they haven't really figured out how to balance her yet. She's only in Endgame for a few minutes and they intentionally pushed her out of most of the narrative because she's too OP. I assume in the sequel she will face someone who can match her power.
Dude we know who's the next OP character in the MCU. They already introduced him. Adam Warlock without the Infinity Stones is gonna be interesting on how they take the character.

Also Carol Danvers is trash no matter what continuity you put her in. Just show me Kamala and call it a day. :nifty:

My yikes alarm is going off the charts

Nah, I won't keep being part of this talk anymore.

I just wanted to talk about how I respect Kojima no matter what he thinks about some movies.

Even if we differ on some of them, the man is still an awesome being and deserves all the praise he gets after the stuff he went through at Konami.

And I'll just stop where I am before things get too out of hand. Just agree to disagree and try not being repetitive again.

I've been getting better guys. Remember nobody is perfect and there's always going to be setbacks.

Billybo10K released his next episode of Rate their Chances.

Morrigan Aensland
Chance: 0%
Want: 50%

Quote
Chance: 5%
Want: 60%

Sylux
Chance: 15%
Want: 75%

Monokuma
Chance: 5%
Want: 85%
Sylux has like, no chance. Unless they do him a la carte. But with how far off Prime 4 is, I wouldn’t begin to expect him unless we got a season 4 (which is definitely not gonna happen).

I’m against another Capcom character in pass 1, but firmly believe one will come if we get a pass 2. But out of all of them, Morrigan and Darkstalkers is probably the least likely. Characters like Dante, Jill, Leon, heck, even Sir Arthur and Amaterasu are all more likely.

Quote, I think, is the most likely playable indie character now that Shovel Knight and Shankar are off the table. But I still think expecting him is foolish.

As for this Monokuma fellow. I know nothing about him, but i’ve Seen him enough in speculation that if he shows up I won’t be surprised.

Women are even more tired of living in a society that constantly tries to tell them what to do.
HA
I'm sorry I'm just tired of seeing all this feminism everywhere. The new Star Wars movies and such.

Aliens (1986) is how you should do a badass female lead.
The new Star Wars films are 100% politics free, crappy writing is the issue

I'm probably on the wrong side of the upcoming debate but whatever

Carol isn't the most... exciting character but I feel like she gets a lot of overblown hate because of a few bad storylines (which longrunning superhero doesn't have that?). My guess is Kamala will be in the sequel though. She's way too popular for them to not capitalize on.

>Captain Marvel
>Worse than the borefest that Dark World was

I honestly don't agree.

I respect Kojima doh, since we are only talking about movies. Him disliking a few doesn't discredit the awesome and amazing person he is.
Just inferring from the tweet I wouldn't say he disliked captain marvel I would say he thought what most people thought about the movie...it was ok but not as good as the other marvel movies that have been coming out lately to me it felt like taking a step back to the marvel movies that were serviciable rather than great.
top 10 moments taken before disaster

my only problem with captain marvel in the MCU is that brie larson keeps saying she's like, the strongest of strong that's ever existed and i'm not personally a fan of uber strong characters unless they either have a challenge that rivals their strength or makes a fun narrative out of it like ONE's Saitama.
I actually feel the same way about superman
He just dosent interest me because hes so powerful its boring and kinda lame I also felt that with captain marvel. But to be fair my favorite type of superheroes are the ones that are on the ground trying to stem the tide of crime examples being daredevil and spiderman.

I didn’t think that Captain Marvel did a ton special or unique beyond finally giving the spotlight to a female superhero like Marvel should have done years ago (How the **** we’re just now talking a Black Widow movie is beyond me...), but I also thought it was just an incredibly solid origins story movie with some lacking villains and weird pacing. I really enjoyed watching that one in the theaters and walked away much happier than I think the Internet wanted me to be.

It’s certainly better than the trash that is Thor The Dark World and Iron Man 2, more engaging than the bore fest of Thor and The Incredible Hulk, and at least feels like it makes solid strides with the empowerment angle that beats out Iron Man 3’s halfhearted attempt to work with the PTSD storyline. It’s not my favorite Marvel movie, but it lives up the reputation of the MCU with a good movie that potentially opens up many doors in the future.

It’s a lot like Captain America The First Avenger. Just a really damn good start for a character that can be hard to introduce with a cool period piece that opens the door for incredible sequels.

Still an opinnion I accept.

If you told me that Kojima is defending awful and scummy things such as slavery I would be more upset.
But it is just a movie, so that is a more acceptable thing to be free about.

Kojima isn't someone who really deserves much hate onto him.

And just to sway away of the whole MCU discussion to avoid being repetitive again.

Comic-Con is coming real soon. What predictions do you guys expect to see?

I think we'll probably see a trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, Spawn MK11 gameplay and the Phase 4 of MCU movie plans. Hopefully Doctor Strange 2 is among those announced for next year.

Cap Marvel is only average for Phase 3 which has been an incredible series of movies.

Far From Home was a great sendoff to this era of the MCU. It kinda feels like it's peaked to be honest.

Captain Marvel has always been a garbage character, even in the comics, although she is better in the movies. I think if they were gonna overpower her so much, they should've introduced her after Endgame

I need to make a confession:

I'm scared to play Death Stranding.
The trailers just gave me a lot of fear and I don't feel brave enough to play it close to my parents.

I do want the game to succeed doh, since Kojima deserves that as the awesome developer he is.

Captain Marvel was so bland and it doesn’t deserve the hate it gets because you could be spending your brain cells on anything else

I personally enjoyed it a lot.

But yeah, the movie isn't perfect.

And even then, it is a movie as I said. Nobody deserves hate over their point of view about one.

Am I the only one who actually liked Far From Home more then Endgame.

The movie made me actually begin to love Happy given

Given the emotional moment where he comforts a scared and tearful Peter after being mentally traumatized by Mysterio. I also love how he's pretty much becoming the new father figure to Peter.

I don't even know if I should just buy Death Stranding but without playing it.

I'm too scared to play the title, but at the same time I don't want it to bomb.

Far from home has taken the spot as my favorite mcu film so far so yes I liked it more than endgame(still loved endgame though)

I thought Far From Home was a little rough in the first two acts but the third act is straight fire, to say nothing of the postcredit scenes.

I found Homecoming more consistent but Far From Home had higher highs. I probably need another watch to re-evalute how I feel about it. The story and themes get better the more I think about it.

The theme of fake news and not believing everything you see is handled really well and resonates a lot more than the average MCU movie.

I also loved Endgame but I think it's the weakest of the Russo movies. Another movie with a bumpy first two acts and amazing third act.

I really didn't think Far From Home was gonna be anything special and just another usual Spider-Man movie but man did it blew my expectations. I'd rate it up there with Godzilla 2, Missing Link and Shazam! as among my favorite movies this year so far. :)

The only thing I hated was the mid-credit scene. Its just so mean-spirited. Hadn't Parker gone through enough after things turn out fine for him in the end.

I hope he can get out the situation of being framed for killing Mysterio and attacking London but on the bright side at least there will be people who will believe him like MJ, Happy, Ned and his aunt.

I guarantee you death stranding won't bomb. Don't buy games you have no intention of playing.

How I personally felt and why I felt underwhelmed with it. Maybe I'm missing something and the point was they were building up to the 3rd act and final battle but still thought it didn't fully deliver IMO.

Yeah, I don't think there is a single truly "trash" or "garbage" mcu movie.

I have issues with the standards of the masses
