When Steve Rogers was found and woken up in the present day, Wonder Woman was present with Nick Fury who recruited and informed her of knowing their history together and to help him adjust.
-Ancient One and Shazam (Wizard) met and had a history with each other.

Also.

-Both Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark obviously being billionaire rivals appearing to be good friends in public but otherwise trading insults in private. Both their parents also knew each other.
-Both Superman and Thor developing a close friendship. Hence Superman appearing during the events of Thor: The Dark World to help him.
-During the events of Infinity War, Amanda Waller would enlist the Suicide Squad into helping during the battle of Wakanda hence why they'd appear in Infinity War and Endgame (Deadshot and Rick Flag being among the survivors of the Snap and Captain Boomerang, Katana and Killer Croc not appearing until near the end. Harley Quinn during both events is currently with Joker).
-Rocket and Deadshot developing a close friendship given their love for weapons. It started during the battle of Wakanda after Rocket failed to screw over both Bucky (His gun and arm) and Aquaman (His trident) and intended to do the same with Deadshot but ended up liking the guy so much that he changed his mind and was even thrilled that Deadshot was willing to sell some of his guns to Rocket who instead due to liking him traded with him and sympathized with each other when they both lost someone they loved (Groot and Zoe Lawton). At the end of the events of Endgame after Tony's funeral, they both had one final moment together with Rocket offering Deadshot a spot in the Guardians if he'd like to join them and though he appreciated it, he politely turns down saying that he has a daughter who needs him which Rocket understands before bidding each other goodbye.

It will always bother me that they made gorgeous animatronics for the 2011 one and then just Painted them over with CG
