Would still be disappointing if they aren't in here. Bringing all the Pokemon back via DLC was a very attractive idea to me because I'd be able to go and CATCH all the Pokemon to complete the Dex. I wouldn't have to go out and play another game or have already played another game to complete it.

I mean, the fact that they're doing DLC at all and not Ultra Sword 1. Ultra Sword 2, Ultra Shield 1, and Ultra Shield 2 kind of speaks to... a bit of a different mindset.

But to counter that

Taking the GTS, a feature that's always been free, and 'effectively' making it paid. There's a free version sure but it's ass compared to the paid.

If the Gen 4 remakes are still a part of Gen 8 (and I see no reason they wouldn't) they could just add all the Pokemon they already put in SWSH (same engine and stuff) and just add more back (plus maybe some new regional variants). Hopefully they'd patch SWSH for those Pokemon, but I'm not holding my breath.

I like SwSh but yeah there's some crummy things about it. The way GTS works bein' one of 'em.

I'm curious to see if they're gonna do more DLC for SwSh next year or if they have new games planned. I'd waaaay prefer another season pass, but TPC knows full well people will buy a Gen 4 remake so who knows, lol.

Dude, you were absolutely right about that last episode of The Owl House. That was freaking insane.

The fight between Eda and Lilith was one of the most spectacularly animated and intense fights I've seen in an animated series in a long time, and that's saying something. Lilith revealing herself to be behind Eda's curse in the heat of the moment also came off as a shock to me. A part of me previously suspected it was her, but the figure was too indistinct for me to be sure, plus her mysterious past and Lilith's general attitude threw me off course. Heck at one point I even suspected it might've been Belos himself that gave it to her, but that obviously isn't the case anymore.

I did get a pretty strong feeling that it was Lilith shortly after the beginning of the episode, though, since it showed just how young Eda was at the time she was cursed, and that it clearly happened while she was in her own home as well. Couldn't be certain, but the idea was definitely back in mind for the rest of the episode. Doesn't diminish the impact it left when Lilith let it slip in her rage, nor that of the sheer look of betrayal and anger in Eda's face after she learned the truth.

It's been a while since an animated show has gotten me so hyped and on the edge of my seat. The action was great, the animation was brilliant, the stakes were high, and the ending hit hard. Also, Emperor Belos is already a promising villain. Fantastic work on his voice actor's part, too.

I wish the finale was an hour-long episode, because the set-up for this finale is a clear sign of just how serious things are gonna get next time.

Fast forward to right now... and... I bought an insane amount of the $1 Dollar Tree pokemon packs and hole punched all of them!

there was the one theory that Bellos forced Lilith to curse Eda so she could join the coven. Although Lilith made it sound like a choice she really regrets and probably wasn’t trying to.She took such a turn fora more evil side though. I kinda expected her to just be on the wrong side but still be good. Then she tried killing Luz and knew full well she was risking Eda losing to the curse. Still one line sticks out,

Lilith went “Of course when I need you most you would be late” it really makes me think she invited Eda there to actually betray and stop Bellos but her anger got the best of her in the moment. We’ll have to see but I do think I’m the end she had some type of plan and wasn’t expecting Eda to come guns a blazing. Next week should be a really hype finale! I don’t see how she saves Ed’s, unless Lilith helps. Although one theory is she recruits Amity maybe because that’s her mentor. I doubt that since her leg is broken but we will have to see. If anything maybe she asks for advice on how to fight her.

Bit of a weird topic change, but talk about CW PPG over on Discord led to Riverdale of course, so this came to my mind. Anyone familiar with the Archie series willing to help me think of some ideas for a potential voice cast for the series, something that could fit a new animated series and could fit either the cartoonish designs or the more realistic designs of Mark Waid’s run? I remember starting one long ago but these were the only two I settled on:

-Nathan Sharp (Natewantstobattle) as Archie
-William Salyers as Mr. Weatherbee.
