Honestly I’m really not aching for a direct like many others are. It’d be cool, but hey, I can wait.

Yeah, me too.

More so as I have a lot of IRL things to worry about at the moment and also many games I still have yet to beat (like Sakura Wars or Persona 5).

I did beat Streets Of Rage 4 with a friend this summer doh, so at least I made progress.

If there's one thing that's been absolutely bugging me these days regarding gaming news, it has to be people who've been acting so pissy and self-entitled when it comes to wanting a "real" Nintendo Direct and feel the need to collectively bash on the likes of the recent Indie Showcase because it isn't what they wanted. It can get really annoying to see everywhere.

I mean, was it really so difficult to throw us a bone by tossing in a simple Smash reveal to make the indie showcase actually worthwhile?

If you ask me, Nintendo should be cancelled for having the audacity to show us anything other than Breath of the Wild 2, the Mario remasters, and Smash Brothers. Simply inexcusable.

Although I guess Cadence of Hyrule was in an indie showcase? Still based on Crypt of the Necrodancer, yeah, but still. Definitely not gonna get any first-party titles that aren’t indie collabs, though.

It’s his expectations/speculation. He’s not 100% sure either way; he thinks it’s weird that a general would be on a Friday. NateDrake also seemed to suggest it could be a mini (when asked about what Jeff Grubb said) but that it should be a general, and even if not, should still have first-party titles.

I don’t get why Nintendo doesn’t just give us delay notices like they did in the partners’ showcase, indie world, and March mini.

Admittedly I’m anxious for the Mario remasters and the next Smash fighter.

I'm on the second lowest difficulty on Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. The enemies aren't too much of a problem but the bosses are pretty tough (then again, I'm not a hack n slash expert).

I might lower the difficulty.

Also, Scott said that the inital games choosed for the FNAFverse were only a start, so if the fangame you work with have high enough quality & the FNAFverse initiative work well enough. Who know, you might one day be part of the fun too, and that, I cannot miss.

Late, but I’m sure stuff I voice in is high enough quality. The people behind them are madlads. The real question is would Scott see them and be interested partnering with them. I sure hope so, ahaha!

EDIT: The fun part is that if a game I voice in does get added to that line-up, I’m more likely than not going to be unaware, so if one does end up getting added I will pop off for all to see. lol

I don’t think it’s a partner showcase. There’s more evidence aligning that it’s at least a normal mini, if not a general according to some insiders. Regardless given the listings we have been getting, lack of titles for next month and the next two months, and the amount of time it’s been since our last direct; plus the need for the next smash reveal soon, I think odds are it’s a more regular styled direct. Not necessarily a general but at least a mini of decent length.

I'm keeping my expectations really low at least until the pandemic becomes less strong around the world.

Heard a lot that Nintendo has been one of the companies which have been hit harder by It, so many people expect delays and a decrease on Game releases.

Basically a good time to be clearing game backlogs and trying out new things or genres one hasn't tried yet.

I think you're seeing ghost here because:

1)Nobody hate you here, and us not giving you likes isn't because we don't take you seriously.

2)Using "likes" to judge how peoples like you is unhealty & there is much reasons why peoples "like" or doesn't like a post that it's not really worth trying to get it.

I mean, sometime i'm quite surprised I get lots of likes, and when I don't too, but I don't think the latter is because peoples dislike me all the sudden.

Finally, you shouldn't make posts just to get likes, you should make them for you first & foremost! Have fun what i'm saying, it's a silly forum where Mario can beat up funny anime boy & serious destroyer of world pinkball. This place ain't perfect, but it ain't a contest either.

Coming from someone who used to think like this, liking a post came off to me as acknowledging I said something, or that you agree with it. It's not necessarily unhealthy.. that is unless you focus entirely on it. These days I think of it more as a "I like this/haha" button.

That's the part I meant, yeah, likes can give you some feedback on your posts, but paying too much attention to them can make you be "control" by them. Like making post only to make likes can really affect you after awhile, and I know because I do sometime think about "likes" a bit too much for my brain. Tho later on, I generally go, "ehh, whatever, I do better next time", and move on.

I know it can be easier said than done, but likes can only give you so much feedback, so it's best to not think of them too much.

Likes are not always indicative of your true standing on this forum. I for one enjoy what you have to say and feel like you can raise some really good points.

I wouldn't worry about the likes: Coming from someone who used to get caught up with likes here on the site, it's not a super healthy outlook on posting. It'll get you really down and make you feel like you have to post a certain way just to get likes.

I can assure you that I don't think any less of you for having a TTG PFP either. I enjoy the posts you make here and think you always have something interesting to bring to the discussion.

You shouldn't worry about that so much. The amount of likes you received doesn't determine your stance in the forums, that's just silly.

Plus, I don't think people would really care about the image your using as a pfp.

Likes aren’t tokens of friendship. Not receiving them doesn’t mean folks dislike you. You’ve brought this up a few times, you’re taking it too personally.

I just bought some Jumpstart packs on a whim. Not to open mind you, but to display on my wall. It's a long term goal of mine to fill my wall up with product, as a sorta flex(and also so I don't have to bike to Walmart every single time I want to get a pack or product)
Jumpstart also is unique in that it's a Limited format product where you only need 4 packs minimum to play, and nothing else, so if I really want to I can give some packs to friends and play, just like that.

It's gonna take a long time and alot of "no don't open it" on my part but eventually I'm gonna be able to flex with an entire wall full of product.

Well, you can look at me. I’ve been here for years, I’m a moderator here, I’m in here as often as anyone else and I contribute whenever I feel like I need to, I feel like I’m friends with a lot of people in here, but I average one to two likes. Does that mean that I feel like my posts are bad or stupid? No, it just means that my post didn’t resonate with that many people. Not a good thing or a bad thing. It’s just how it is.
