I started a new character in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and have been working my way through the story mode. Wanna make sure I'm decently prepared before hopping online, y'know?
The last game I seriously played before that was Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, and I'm only slightly ashamed to admit that I binged the **** out of it lol.

Oh, it's a fantastic game for sure - my absolute favorite game of all time in fact - but 100 hours in a little over three weeks is still overkill lol. I'm definitely going to avoid playing another game to such an extent like that again.

Behold mere mortals, at my glorious card game wall!!
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if i’m the only one who did my wall this way, because using pegs I originally used to store Nerf Guns?(which I never use anyway) Genius idea if I do say so myself.
I just beat the Destroy All Humans remake, and I'm playing the Fairy Tail game. So far, the writing and combat in FT holds up well, though it's clear that it had some budget issues between about a third of the characters not having models (or making no appearances whatsoever) and the ludicrously overpriced DLC. (four characters, a few extra missions and three packs of 16 costumes each cost twice as much as the game)
The Destroy All Humans remake was a lot of fun, though tracking down all of the probes seems like it will be a pain. Thankfully, there's no achievement tied to doing that. (the only achievements that I'm missing are getting a three star rank on one type of side mission, getting a three star rank on every side mission, and completing all of the optional objectives in story mode)
I'm also playing some of Carrion, Guilty Gear XX, and Skullgirls from time to time.
If I had my laptop with me I would pull up my steam stats, iirc I have like 500 hours on Terraria. Haven’t played it in years though, for various reasons.
Being able to adapt to the situation with the proper Monado art is usually the trickiest thing about playing Shulk, but I wouldn't say that he's a technical monster that requires insane execution to be effective either. His nair and fair are commonly abused in Quickplay from what I've seen but a good Shulk player will properly space those aerials and even use them to bait the opponent into throwing out an unsafe move out of shield.
I guess I'd say that the "scrubbiest" thing about Shulk is being able to pop Shield in the middle of the opponent's combo and fall out of it. Other than that, nothing about him really screams "cheap" to me.
OK. I do not understand why BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle isn't more consistently updated. It is literally an asset dump. I get that they have to make brand new sprites for the RWBY and Senran Kagura characters (and there's a chance they might be making new ones for the Arcana Heart and Akatsuki Blitzkampf characters as well. I can't really tell just from looking) but the BlazBlue, P4A, and UNIB characters are all literally just ported over from their original games. Why can't they be more consistently dropped and added? Like, as far as I know the game is not officially "done", and the folks at ArcSys want to keep going with it. So why not?
Like, I understand if the virus impacted things. But again, all the sprites 3, possibly 5, of the 7 fates (fates being what the game calls franchises) are completely recycled from other titles. I just don't understand why they haven't been steadily putting out more packs in the months since the version 2.0 update.
The way I would do it if I were them and they were serious about wanting to keep going with it, and that the datamine of announcer clips was accurate, is to release big "Keystone Packs" that grant you access to all of the remaining characters from each title/franchise. "V 3.0" would "launch" with the

or you could always just ignore the SU one and count Eltnam as a Melty Blood character and thus get her own Keystone. But, and I could be wrong about this, but I think that Eccole and French Bread (the developers of both Melty Blood and UNIB) own the rights to the original characters they created for the game. Again, I could be wrong about that. And if you know one way or another please correct me.
Also my time in Washington was mostly clear skies (an amazing feat in and of itself) and I found out how much I took Mt. Rainier's stunning beauty for granted. There isn't really a sight like it anywhere else in the country where an humongous peak is towering over the landscape isolated like Mt. Kilimanjaro or Mt. Fuji. Others like McKinley or Whitney are surrounded by other massive peaks

I'm not familiar with Steven Universe, but if we got a western cartoon represented, I'd love to see Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra make it in.
Despite only having BlazBlue in the title, Arc System Works' BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle actually combines a number of franchises into one tag team fighting game. In addition to the titular series, it also has characters from Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth EXE:Late, as well as the anime series

Even if they just went with Aang and Korra as the absolute bare minimum, I'd love to see what they could do with those characters.

While we’re talking about Blazblue:
I’ve mentioned this before, but a character I would really love to see is Yumeko Jabami (from Kakegurui). All you need to know about the show is that it’s all about gambling.
Now tell me a luck-based moveset (similar to Hero, but to the absolute extreme) for a character who revolves around gambling. I’d absolutely love it.
I've been playing Pokemon SwSh. The recent wild event with A-Raichu sparked some energy for me to play it more. Get some stuff done instead of putting it off.

Metalborg lore is just funny to me. The Metalborgs are tired of the Dimensional Robos ****ing obliterating entire cities so they(formerly a small band of construction robots) joined the JUSTICE!!!!! gang and became the only Dimension Police group that focuses on minimizing civilian damage, unlike their trigger happy peers in the Cosmic Heros and Dimensional Robos.
Yeah but aside from the legal hurdles, I feel like the artstyle would clash heavily and I highly doubt you’d be able to get the VAs back. If they couldn’t get Laura Bailey back for Trinity, good luck trying to get Estelle.

That's true. Although I was thinking the characters would get redesigns to look like FusionFall. Although as far as Legal Hurdles, Rooster Teeth is actually owned by WB. So is Cartoon Network.

Well first off, imagine going up to a network and trying to convince the execs to allow you to use the characters in a cartoon aimed towards relatively young audiences and include them in the same game that also has this series represented...
Not trying to sound like a prude Snake, but I think there’s stuff like that to take into consideration.
