Airsoft is one of those sports I want to get into someday but I don't have the funds nor the means to actually play. Still love to watch videos of it though.

Just one.

I was going to do Modern languages or translation/interpretation as that's the only thing I'm good at in life.

The fact my cousins are likely entering college before me while being a year older depresses me. It is the best example of how much of a failure I am.
Word of the wise: Apply to more.

Trust me, I did the same mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket, and I got rejected. What saved me is that I applied to one other college which did accept me, but if I didn't, I'd be screwed.

If I may interject, pursuing higher education isn't a great indicator of success these days, and the time you do it certainly isn't all too important. We're all going at our own pace in life and that's okay.
I failed out of college a couple times in the 3 years following high school, never finished, but still ended up in a well-paying creative field. While I don't think everybody can replicate that (it certainly depends a bunch on which industry), maybe the anecdote will help a bit.

Woah, a lot of people came in to help me feel better.

Thanks to everyone about that. I was feeling really bad about It but reading about all your experiences made me feel a bit more positive.

Will try to sign Up for more colleges next time if I'm not accepted in August 4th either.

I also got told my cousins didn't get accepted either yet shockingly enough.

Pretty cool news; Nintendo patched the old Animal Crossing hud glitch and then just added it as a feature for free. Good job!

@JDCabrera let me force myself to wake up and give you a late thing on this.

I'm 23 and just finished applying for welfare benefits today. I spent the last seven years in tertiary education back and forth between various places just to jump up only one level of qualification. And no matter how I tell myself, a part of me feels defeated.

My younger brother is going into university next month and he hasn't left his teens while I'm about a level or two lower than him. And for a while about a year ago, a part of me felt like I should have died from that liver infection two years ago as a lot of my life has been really downhill after.

Yet I'm still hoping that I will get a better life than the one I have. It's just starting later than I want.

Make that of what you will really.

If I may interject, pursuing higher education isn't a great indicator of success these days, and the time you do it certainly isn't all too important. We're all going at our own pace in life and that's okay.

Pretty much and looking to what I mentioned, I dropped out of a few courses. However what I lacked in qualifications, I grew in experience and understanding of people.

The closest thing I hope to be for now is creative writing. However I know I'm not going to make anything big until the issues, including my siblings, are out of my way.
So for now? Try and get a part time job and think about it from there.

XD Sorry I didn't say it in english, I didn't felt like saying the anecdote in that language, especially since we both speak spanish.

To finish on this well. Found the tweet the inspired me about this.

And that's advice I found on Twitter.

Just because you are in your 20s doesn't mean it's over. I've just going through a few transitional years.

Right I'm gonna do a self block from here and Discord for a few hours as the clingyness is creeping a wee bit.

Gonna do some game photography and need to get back to story. Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn and maybe Gravity Rush 2.

Might post pics here later.

So that was found recently. Early humans in Animal Crossing/Forest from presumably when it was still in works as an action RPG.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
It's amazing just how much has been found by now, with no signs of stopping.

Nintendo: adds multiple characters with ~15 characters in their name
Player: oh so that means my miis and amiibo can have at least 15 characters too?

Well, I finished watching the first two episodes of The Seven Deadly Sins. I got very impressed from what I viewed, really liked some of the characters too.

Actually Animal Crossing's premise was originally "an animal in a city of humans" which is the inverse of what actually came to be. Which is cool

Been playing more of Persona 5 Royal.

Have dedicated time to saving money through the temporal works in the Game to buy more medicaments, strengthen bonds with other characters and adquiring gear to improve the Defense of my characters.

The more prepared I am for the strong enemies the better.

You know the Mega Man Legacy Collections? Can we get that, but for Sonic? Like, sure. Remake the adventure games. But I wouldn’t mind a trilogy of collections with all the mainline sonic titles that... aren’t on Switch.

Like,
Sonic the Hedgehog (IOS)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (IOS)
Sonic CD (IOS)
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (Ideally remade by Team Mania but I understand if that can’t happen)
Sonic Adventure DX
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Sonic Heroes
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Ideally all remade but again, I understand if that can’t happen.
Sonic Unleashed
Sonic Colors
Sonic Generations
Sonic Lost World

All with some quality of life updates and remastered.

A while ago I came up with an Elseworld idea of if Superman landed in Australia and was raised by the Aboriginals. I never realized how fun of a Crocodile Dundee crossover that would be.

Premise: Lois Lane, a writer, and journalist after hearing that a mysterious superhero who has been protecting the world is rumored to live in the Northern Territory of Australia travels there to get a story of it. She eventually finds the supposed superhero living as a bushman by the name of Clark "Crocodile" Dundee.

"That's not heat vision. THIS is heat vision." :p

Actually no.
Interview
Eguchi - At that point we had discussions about things like how many floors could we have in a dungeon? How should items be placed? There wasn’t even a hint of being able to have conversations with animals at the time.

Iwata - At that time what were the animals like?

Eguchi - You just issued commands to them with simple button presses.

Nogami - The system was set up so that each player had their own animals at their disposal.

Iwata - That is somewhat RPG-like isn’t it - having your teammates following behind you.

If I can jump into the discussion from personal experience

Sometimes a rejection can be the best thing to happen. I was rejected from my graduate program because I failed to make the deadline. Beat myself up for a bit and asked myself why I did it. That's when I decided to delay a year while getting some experience around the field I was interested in. Applied again and got it. And from what I heard from the class before me (a good friend of mine also applied in the program and graduated recently), his experience with the awful teachers made me thankful I didn't get the same experience.

And while I did put my eggs in one basket, I made it in on a 30% chance because over SIXTY people applied into the program and 25 got in. Just don't give up despite not making it. There was only two colleges in the US that have what I was looking for, one being my alma mater and I got tired of that place.

I like how both Machamp and Mewtwo play in Pokken, with Mewtwo having slow but powerful attacks, and Machamp being a heavy brawler. So now I'm training with a team of those two + Gardevoir.
