I've said it before but there are a few of you guys who I'd be up for meeting IRL one day in the future

Think it would be fun. And also I don't interact with my family and just saw one of my two IRL friends for the first time in months a few days ago.

Hell I'd be up for voice chat at some point.
I’d be up for an irl meetup too but I’m currently a broke college student and I’m gonna be in there for like seven years sooo
And voice chat might be fun, I’m hella shy though so I’d prefer our whole discord chat be involved if we did.

Who are the starting characters and unlockables?
If I had to pick, I'd say that Shovel Knight, Shantae, Meat Boy, and Quote are the starters, with the rest being unlockable. (I know from experience that it's possible to have unlockable characters in Mugen, even if I'm not sure about all of the details)

Maybe it would make more sense to have someone like Sans or the Goose (the funnier, more popular characters), or the Knight or Madeline (the "hidden gems" whose games get recommended all the time on the Switch subreddit, even when it has nothing to do with the type of games that people were asking about), in the starting line-up, but I figure I should start small and build up to those characters.

Pretty much wouldn't mind it. In the future.

And you've got my accent with my tendency to mumble. I'm confident to people I see as friends but not to anyone else.

Thanks!
I actually found my love for drawing by drawing Pokemon (Gen 5), I'm enjoying this so far. My first big drawing in a while.
I should get into drawing again one of these days, ngl.

Still need to draw some Alex Kidd fan art I had planned.

I’m gonna be real for a second.
If Rayman gets in Smash and his stage isn’t Kung Foot, I’m not playing on it.
Imagine how fun Kung Foot would be if it even had the ball as a stage hazard, and instead of playing Smash Bros you’re all of a sudden playing Rayman Legends but with Banjo, Rayman, Mario and Sonic

I don't really know what to draw next. Did some small doodles for an attempt to finalize my own artstyle.

One of the reasons why I like our small group there.
All trying to create something. In days like now, it's something to look to.

I've also been getting back into drawing recently. Kind of a hobby that I abandoned years ago and only just recently picked back up.

Been drawing solely in pen to break my inner perfectionist and learn to be ok with mistakes.

I just looked up the prices for Bowsers inside story on the DS on Amazon.

I just dumped it on the save for later pile on my Amazon cart so I can buy it before the year ends.

Voice chats, huh? Ya know, my sister has voice chats with her internet friends all the time. Sometimes I overhear it and chime in. It's strange because I hate making phone calls, but hopping into one of my sister's voice chat conversations is pretty easy for me.

I feel like I'd be more nervous talking to you guys though. I actually have a little bit of a reputation here - to my sister's friends, I'm just "Mari's brother". I'm already a huge dork online but I feel like I'd come off as an even bigger one in a chat.

There's also that I really hate my voice and it sounds even worse over a mic, so there's that.

Unless you have a thick accent I don't think you will turn many heads a lot of people I hear on Voice Chat sound monotonic in a way.

I don't have a thick accent, but I used to have a speech impediment and it still shows through on occasion. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked what country I've moved from despite living in the same general region of the US my entire life.

My voice is also really deep, but my internal voice is much more average. So I feel this dissonance whenever I hear a recording of my own voice. Although I suppose most people find their own voices jarring for similar reasons.

It's the opposite for me, my voice sounds deep in my head but according to other people my voice is surorisingly high pitched for a dude.

One of the coolest things about Spider-Verse was not just seeing pre-established alternative spideys meat up, but all the weird new ones they could cook up.

So if we do a similar concept with Mega Man, what weird alternate versions of him could exist out in the multiverse.

Final update for the night

The reason on why some parts look sharper is because I sharpened my pencil.

I revamped the eyes and slightly altered the beak. Made the eyebrows bigger.

So far, I'm really liking it.

Started Mega Man 1. Beat Bomb Man and Guts Man and.... okay, maybe it’s because of the rewind function and the rapid fire but this isn’t that hard. Okay. It’s definitely the rewind. I’d still be on those damn dropping platforms in Guts Man’s stage without it.

Mega Man 1 isn't 'hard', but it's janky. Other games in the franchise smooth out the 'feel' of the game, though even critically acclaimed ones like 2 and 3 have their moments of "**** this noise", like the death lasers in Quick Man's stage or a couple parts in 3.
