If evidence could be found. Obviously be charged or arrested for neglect or abuse.
If there's anything last couple of months should have taught us, the police aren't really that useful in many cases.
A slur isn't enough to get the police involved unfortunately.
Do Child services even help after you turn 18?
This, you can't exactly arrest someone for saying a slur word.
Wear a wire. Record things on your phone in secret. Do something so you can have plenty of evidence. You need to get out of there.

Snake.... you do know JD lives on an island, right? How the hell would you even get the truck there? You can't exactly fly it and iirc very few boats would actually take a moving truck on them(too tall which would cause way too much disjointed balance issues)
Even if they said yes, if the parent is the legal guardian, its still kidnapping.
I think there are a lot of alive abusers as we speak.
I'm going to assume you're being specific of what type of abuse is being used unless you think substance abusers are truly worse than murderers.
Just because gnats gather doesn't mean they have anything reasonable to say. Brie Larson would make a good Samus and who knows maybe the negative feedback from over sensitive man children will give the film a much needed boost because sometimes their isn't a better promoter than negative reviews.

Because if they did report it to the police they would feel that would only embolden the abuser's actions after the police officer leaves. Or if their dad is taken away that would leave them out of a place to live. There are a lot of reasons why people don't call the police on their parents or guardians.
Some actors have a tendency to be cast as a specific type of character frequently. That doesn’t mean they can’t pull off other types. If they could only play one type of character, they wouldn‘t really be a good actor honestly.
A lot of actors got famous by only doing one kind of role.

I think its hard to properly define Samus as a character since she had so little actual character development in her series (unless we go off mangas and Other: M) So beyond Space bounty hunter Samus is really a blank.
