This is about to sound very tinfoil hat levels but I find it interesting anyway.
This past week Mario and smash speculation has been weird as hell. To the point where I think a Mario character is in as FP7.
So the smallest thing is that weird response Nintendo gave to Pokémon’s twitter post about wrong answers only. They said Waluigi with a victory pose gif. Which makes sense but also gives me big chibi robo on Fire vibes.
Second is that whole Geno GameStop thing. Now this is probably a big screwup rather then they had actual info but their response gives big SpongeBobs brain Is panicking vibes: for reference:
The fact GameStop knew of the fire emblem Meme but not Geno is a spirit is weird as hell but maybe I’m overthinking it because it is insane to think they somehow know. But they genuinely feel like they fear Geno is actually next.
Lastly for the last few big release in animal crossing and xenoblade, Sakurai’s pic of the day has had to do w out h those games. But Orgami King does not have a pic of the day related to it despite a literally paper mario stage. Could he be FP 7 and they are waiting because his reveal is Monday?
Like that trailer writes itself, Waluigi gets the letter but then the letter is actually Paper Mario and he’s in instead.
The salt would be funny.
That last one is the most interesting tbh and plausible. With this being a big Mario year and the leakers saying it’s not labeled as such, but is a Mario focused direct, revealing a Mario character in Smash makes a lot of sense tbh.
But who even knows at this point. I’m up for thoughts though.
