Looking back, does anyone regret buying a game system they thought would be good and it flopped? Becsuee that’s how I felt with Wii U.

Cartoon Network accidentally having that Lidnsey "censored cursing" moment in the show, that alone made it all worth itSpeaking of Total Drama, the original Teletoon cut is so much better than the CN version. My gosh. It's like 4kids censoring got all up in the show's crib.
Shredder finally getting cancelledI can't believe I'm seeing Shredder slander in the thread today. That's wild.
The mall shopping bully of a mean girl line is so bad it's good xDI got a Switch because...Nintendo

>Starting NGEI just watched the first episodes of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Neon Genesis Evangelion, since I wanted to try mecha anime and I know those are two famous examples. (the only other one that I'm aware of is Gundam, but Canadian Netflix doesn't have much in the way of options and I don't know what the best starting point is)
They are two very different series, to say the least.
TTGL reminds me of My Hero Academia, or at least the dynamic between Deku and All-Might, while NGE feels more like a Godzilla movie (I think - I haven't actually seen any Godzilla movies) but with an emphasis on drama over giant monster attacks. Simon and Shinji seem kind of similar in terms of personality (young kids who lack self-confidence), but while Simon (no idea why his name's pronounced See-Moan instead of Simon) fights through his uncertainty to make the impossible possible, use a drill to pierce the heavens, etc., Shinji immediately gives up and then starts getting all depressed that nobody wants him, even though they did want him and he refused to help or even try. Kamina encourages Simon to find the strength to keep going, while everyone in Evangelion seems to be forcing Shinji into doing things that he doesn't want to do.
Even the first activation scene of the mech is very different, with TTGL having Simon encouraged to activate it with a rousing speech, while NGE has people saying that Shinji's likely going to die if he tries to activate it, but they have no choice.
I'm not sure which is an example of a traditional mecha series, but I think I'll go with TTGL before trying to continue with NGE. Gurren Lagann seems like it will be cheesy but uplifting, whereas I feel like Evangelion is going to range from gloomy to outright depressing.
I have no idea what to expect, aside from knowing that this happens at some point:>Starting NGE
Hoo boy
Strap in for a....ride

And that Shinji's father is one of the worst examples of a father in anime, though I don't know why.
NGE is a very wack show. While it's gotten praise over the years, I've never understood the hype. While the characters ARE very complex and interesting (mostly), the deuteragonist in Rei is painfully boring and leaves much to be desired. Along with that, the story is very convoluted and has plenty of story points that make no sense.I just watched the first episodes of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Neon Genesis Evangelion, since I wanted to try mecha anime and I know those are two famous examples. Eh, I didn't find it that complex personally.NGE is a very wack show. While it's gotten praise over the years, I've never understood the hype. I think the show deconstructs Shinji's predicament well, but everything else about the storytelling aspect is painfully bad.
I understand this is an unpopular opinion because many like NGE, but oh well![]()
culture right here.Wii u had Wind waker and TmS#FE so nope, I dont regret it
Maybe they are actually doing that P3 remake the P5 fandom is begging them for and they don't see the point in rereleasing the original game?I’m worried that we won’t be getting P3FES on Steam. If they were adding it, why wouldn’t they release it at the same time as P4G? Although maybe they didn’t want to wait to finish both. But still, I’m worried that it won’t be coming. I can always just get P4G if that’s the case, but I still would want P3 more.
Oh hai OmarI thoroughly enjoyed Neon Genesis Evangelion/End of Evangelion personally. While I do agree that it's pretty wack, that's kind of the draw of it in the first place I feel like. NGE by itself is pretty confusing on the first watch through, but I think End of Evangelion does a good job in making it make more sense.
Also, NGE has a pretty dope soundtrack, so that's a plus.
That would be amazing. Thank you for turning my worry into hope. I’d personally love to see a remake with even more new features. And the remix potential would be limitless.culture right here.
Pls Nintendo I'm begging ya, port wind waker to switch

I wouldn't be against that, the original P3 felt kinda weird to play tbh.
That is literally the point I was making....
Cartoon Network doesn't own Total Drama.
Acquired programing is a program the company simply owns the broadcasting rights. They don't put up money in it's creation and they don't own the intellectual property. If both of those items don't apply at the same time, it's not acquired programming.
"Trading level 1 Zigzagoon for level 100 Mewtwo."I know you guys are tired of me talking about Pokemon... but Jesus is the GTS a complete mess. Pokemon fans really want diamonds for a penny. An unobtainable penny.
"I'll give you my Level 70 Zekrom, but you gotta give me a totally legit level 1 Dialga.""Trading level 1 Zigzagoon for level 100 Mewtwo."
Didn't previous games offer trade filters so you don't get people requesting legendaries?I know you guys are tired of me talking about Pokemon... but Jesus is the GTS a complete mess. Pokemon fans really want diamonds for a penny. An unobtainable penny.
That's actually possible through the older HGSS event."I'll give you my Level 70 Zekrom, but you gotta give me a totally legit level 1 Dialga."
I do t understand how we can be trying to make the same “point” while coming to the opposite conclusion. Unless we’re missing each other somewhere. That is literally the point I was making
The term "legendary" is loose as hell lol.Didn't previous games offer trade filters so you don't get people requesting legendaries?
My point is that those two were acquired programming, just like TMNT.That is literally the point I was making
If you say so. But you are still wrong. Factually. Based off of the actual definition of the term.My point is that those two were acquired programming, just like TMNT.
I'm done talking about this anyway.
Speaking of which, anyone remember Kappa Mikey?Dude, Nickelodeon has been a topic for three days. Get some sleep.
Unironically, I liked that show rofl.Speaking of which, anyone remember Kappa Mikey?
