It all goes down after 21. At 13, you want to be 16. At 16, you want to be 18. At 18, you want to be 21. And at 22, you want to be 21 again.
Wish I was 20. Actually gave a crap about life and looked on the upswing.

I'm 23 now and not really. Health problems and anxiety destroyed all that.

On the bright side tonight figured whats been wrong with my tooth at last. Vein underneath has grown thick. So probably means infection.

You're not done being young in your early twenties, don't wait until you only have retrospect to realize that.

I feel I'm wasting my "youth".

I should be in college right now, but work is draining all my energy and I'm nervous about student debt.

I know I'm still young. I'm still "physically" young if you get what I'm saying, but I have TERRIBLE age dysphoria. I cried on my 22nd and 25th birthday.
My fear is that
I'll become too old for women, particularly youthful women (18-21) to find me attractive anymore. I take medicine to avoid balding, and it has worked amazingly, but that's still a major insecurity of mine. Whenever I lurk around on dating apps, I see plenty of profiles demanding no one over 30, and I'm closer to 30 than 20. There's also nature's toll on men's youthfulness, and that terrifies me.

Preach.

The fact I'll be 30 next year and Ultimate still won't be done with its DLC fills me with a strange form of existential dread.

So, are we all in agreement to start an old people's crying club?

For me it's kinda the opposite, I feel like a good chunk of my time in university was wasted, the social part of it was fun, don't get me wrong, made some friends, got insanely good at using the 3DS as my Smash controller.

But the only class where I got knowledge I've actually used in my life is just from my one computer repair class, and i barely anything in that class, just sat around the class playing on my 3DS or Switch after ten minutes of the professor explaining how the different parts worked. Easiest class ever

So, very few of us, if any are happy about the age we are each in, or how we are living it, in the case of some?

I incorporate this same strategy but with Melia or Seven instead, and that's because I like being able to have decent chain attacks.
Fair enough, just saying Sharla can do it since you don't have Melia or anyone else beside Raine & Shulk in the early game.

Also, god bless the ability to change your level, even if I don't know why they call it "Expert Mode" when it doesn't make the game harder or easier necessarily.

Can't sleep. Gonna do my rendition of counting sheeps which is just rambling on with a big-ass text message. I'll do... Will's Top 10 songs baybee, it's like we're in 2010 where Top 10 countdowns were all the rage.

I never see people talk about their music tastes here, maybe this is an opportunity idk, I just wanna drop some bops here.

So since Smashboards said "**** your list" I'm just going to drop 1 song I really like and then I'll add onto it later.

Here’s one of my all time faves.
I’m a rock/metal head at heart and this is one of the most chill songs I’ve ever heard and it always puts me in a good mood and I really need that recently ngl.

I don't like screaming in music, at least not usually. Very rarely do I enjoy songs that utilize it, and Can't Swim and Trash Boat are the only two bands I can think of that fully utilize it and make me enjoy it. It kind of helps me understand the perspective of people who do enjoy that type of music because it's very good with stress relief. It got me and some of my friends through hard times through their music, I love melodic hardcore. This song is the most extreme on terms of the amount of screaming I'm totally fine with, and even still I like this song a lot.

The most recent I've thrown on the list, I just really like this song. I also like The Wrecks as a band, their singles are really good. Funny lyrics, great vocals, amazing melody, it's just objectively good. Also, the official video makes it even more hilarious.

Another Indie one that I just like in general. Don't have a deep story, I've always loved this song as it is.

This is my hype song. That is all I have to say.

I really like Can't Swim, and this is another song that got me through some tough times. It does have some screamo moments, but I find it their most enjoyable song, IMO. If you're interested in the band, I'd check out their latest EP: Foreign Language. They're relatively unheard of band, which is a shame.

I used to be really into speed/power metal when I was in early high school, and I had my favorites, sure. Battlefield by Blind Guardian is an absolute treat of a musical jam, but the album it's based on (Night at the Opera) isn't that great without it. However, Virus is a different story, I love every single track in this thing, and its main tagline song is a thriller. I have no clue what these lyrics go on about, but speed metal is usually very bombastic and encouraging in its lyrics. I was never one for depressing songs, I loved songs like these where the message was to lift your head up high and keep going, supporting it with killer guitar riffs, Heavenly is the best when it comes to guitar solos in this genre IMO.

This song is literally "everyone's dying but **** it man let's keep fighting anyway", that's metal as hell.

I hit a soundcloud phase in my later half of high school, I had a lot of songs from various people at the time, but due to dat teenage romance and how it usually panders out in failure, this song hit with me pretty emotionally. But to this day, out of the other artists, this one resonates with me the most. Flow is great, lyrics are fun, and it's overall something that turned me from a sobbing heap of hormones into someone ready to bust a move.

Jack Stauber is mostly known right now for having a few songs being posted a lot on TikTok, mostly Buttercup or Peppermint. But some of his songs are right up my alley, like Deploy, Today Today, or Small World. However, this song is absolutely fantastic, what with its message against suicide and all. His unique folk style is the cherry on top, making a melancholy-sounding song with an overall positive message.

Check out more 1960s songs, you can find some solid gems in there. This song was actually written by Joni Mitchell, but Judy both recorded it first and is the superior singer of the song IMO. This is my grandma's favorite album, and I cherish both her and this album because it is overall a pretty album based on the fact that it has an instrument gimmick of nothing "artificial" that works out well.

Cake is my favorite band, always has been since I was little. I could have easily put any Cake song up here. Short Skirt / Long Jacket, Mexico, Shadow Stabbing, Nugget, Comfort Eagle, Love You Madly... I don't really like The Distance that much, which is the only song people recognize them by. This is from their last album in 2011. I love this band's mariachi influence, it goes so well with their flow. But this song, like #10 with Can't Swim, has helped me go through some tough emotional times. Songs like these just let me forget everything and just chill back, vibing. My second favorite song before this album came out was probably Shadow Stabbing from the Comfort Eagle album in 2001. Otherwise, I would recommend any Cake song, because I love them all.

Each of these have some type of explanation, so if you're interested, check out my tastes and then roast me for liking music or something, idk.

I like songs like that, heavy with the instruments but with a modest tempo. I need to get more into RHCP, I've never disliked any of their songs, I just forget they exist half the time.

The thing is that I am actually a huge nerd who really likes learning for learning's sake. Writing essays and tedious math exercises not as much, but give me a text book and I'll be happy to read it. I really enjoyed the one year of college I did before getting sick of being dependent on my parents and getting a job.

At the very least, I enjoy learning more then I enjoy working full-time retail.

Anyway I'm probably going to do part-time college online after the summer is over. I'm going to need to sort out which one I'm going to and maybe see about getting my hours reduced a tiny bit at work, but as stressful as this year has been so far I think I'm getting to the point where I could mentally handle juggling school and work.

My mental stamina has always been a weak point of mine, though.

Hi! How's it going?
Quite well!!!

It is being a relaxing morning, and later today we will have lunch at my uncle's home with some of my mother's friends.

Been thinking about trying to make a flan again, this time making sure to put it on a bag which doesn't break.

I still find it funny that Yokai watch was able to get Chocobo's and Moggles in their game but smash never did.

The evil is defeated.
We got a chocobo hat in Smash 4.
