About to reach Alcamoth. Had a **** day yesterday so haven't made progress.
And yeah the game feels easier this time round and not even on casual mode.

Nah, this is how it's always been, I've overleveled because I do literally everything on every version of Xenoblade. The real difficulty kicks in after

Mechonis Core and the Telethia Wave battle

Because all of the new sidequests has you tackling enemies in the 90s while you're struggling in your late 60s or early 70s if you're like me and grind. **** gets hella scary all of a sudden.

Honestly, I wanna know if Expert Mode is actually difficult. :nifty:

Expert Mode just lets you lower your levels, that's it.

Also I got Seven after nearly 30 hours

Did you blaze through the main story only or go through sidequest sludge like me?

I always gotta go with the Nopon cartel subplot, it's a necessity.

I've been doing some of the Colony 6 rebuilding and the odd side quest.

They said they made it easier but I don't see it.

Easier how?

What would've been really making it easier is letting me highlight certain materials so I know where to find them on the map. Being able to actually know what certain item orbs are is really helpful.

I just wanna know one thing: did they increase the spawn rate of Ice Cabbages and Rainbow Slugs? Those were a pain in the ass to find in vanilla

Just played some Animal Crossing. Created the town tune and the town flag.

The tune is Bonetrousle and the flag is Sans with star eyes.

Also my island has the charismatic rating of 1 star.

I'm clearly amazing at this game. :025:

Since quests actually highlight their locations on a map, it's become far easier to track. I never even knew the items were preset, I thought you just gambled when you picked it up and hope RNG never said "oh **** you picked something up? uhhhh, uhhh, yeah that's a wet ****ing rat".

The only noticeable change I found was maybe Marine Marble, I had so many of those just lying around.

I remember they said in the press release that they made it easier.
Well that was a ****ing lie.

Okay seriously, when do you get the ability to add pathways in New Horizons? I saw them on other people's island, and I can't design the way I want to without them.
