Yeah, at this point, I think Ganon's different enough. But I wouldn't mind it if some of echo fighters got back in later titles and added more unique traits to them. It's not like Falco and Luigi started out as different as they are now.

Roy literally has more unique moves when compared to Marth than Isabelle does when compared to Villager. Add in completely different run speeds, walk speeds, weights, jump heights, air speeds, fall speeds, and general frame data, and I honestly think the people who claim "we have four Marth's" just care about aesthetics and nothing else.

Aesthetics are an important element too. So that's why you'll hear those complaints. And again, people are more forgiving depending on how popular the game series is, or the amount of characters in it. There's only 2 AC characters, but 7 FE ones, 4 of which are still somewhat similar to Marth, even visually.

Decapre from SF4 is I think a charge character who has a totally unique moveset from Cammy, was someone who was a cameo character since the Alpha titles, yet, because she looked like an Evil Cammy with a mask, people disliked her and saw Capcom as lazy for adding her. People also had similar reactions to Evil Ryu in most games, yet shotos are still pretty popular.

Evil counterparts in particular are tricky because people either love them or really hate them.

lmao, it's barely changed. the game is still broken af.

I meant Notch's coding, which is still in the game since they can't really redo it without rewriting everything, but I figured the devs have been more-efficient with their newer stuff.

Though I guess it doesn't matter; the game still runs at lower frames for a lot of people, and even some high-end computers get some pressure for a moment from simply starting up the game or loading a world/chunks in the newer updates.

Actually, scratch that, it's been about 7 years since Jersey Shore ended.

And yeah, Teen Mom is still on the air, but they got a bunch of sequels now, some of which are still airing while the original Teen Mom is airing.

My question is, who even watched Teen Mom anyway? Because nobody did when I was younger.

All I wanted to be was a brilliant as Phineas and Ferb, and be able to build zany contraptions like a roller coaster in space because people were willing to pretty much give them the nuclear codes no questions asked, so why don't I try it out.

X/Y - "There's hardly any new Pokemon. All they did was make a bunch of lame redesigns and call them Mega Evolutions. Might skip this game."
Sun/Moon - "Why are they making another 3DS game when the NX is being released soon! The 3DS is dead! Might skip this game."
Sword/Shield - "They aren't bringing back every Pokemon! That's so lame! Might skip this game."

Then a new trailer gets released, we see more of the story, everyone eats it up, and then no one can sit still because they're so excited for the game they said they wouldn't buy five months ago.

is literally outclassed by the new flower pokemon that does literally the same things that it did 20 years ago in '99.



i doubt hoppip of all things is coming back and i dont think its come back in the past 10 years

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I would have been entirely down for a new Pokemon that straight up dropped all of the past Pokemon, but set out to be a genuinely new and well polished experience with new mechanics and a better world to explore. Make like a solid new 200 Pokemon, bring in some new types, break from as much of the original structure as possible, polish those graphics to make the HD Pokemon people have dreamed of in a brand new and original experience. I would have preferred something like that to the current half measure we're seeing.

Or at the very damn least, leave as much of Generation 1 behind, because I'm getting real damn tired of the Pokemon from that generation dominating everything. We just had another Gen 1 reimagining for Christ's Sake...
