They can be on different planets but still in the same universe. Take Melee's story mode, where it jumps from Zebes to Pop Star. The only problem might be if multiple games use the planet Earth - aside from Sonic (not Nintendo, but still), I know that Splatoon, Pikmin (even if it's not named that), and F-Zero do, but all of them take place in the distant future.
I’m sure there’s some sort of believable way to have different dimensions and have characters travel between them when needed

One day, while trying to beat his personal best time on Mute City, Captain Falcon (you can't have Smash Bros. without Captain Falcon) drives so fast that he breaks the space-time continuum!

...okay, maybe I'll need to brainstorm something better.

The problem with a Nintendo Cinematic Universe is how visually disorganized it would be. Just going off the two modern Nintendo movies, Detective Pikachu is live action/realistic CGI, and Mario is probably going to be fully cartoony CGI. It could probably be done, but it'd be very difficult.

A Capcom Cinematic Universe, on the other hand...

Simple then. Detective Pikachu can be its own separate continuity like many marvel and dc movies (Dark Knight Trilogy, Punisher movies, Blade movies, etc.).

Supposedly start with the animated Mario movie and go from there. Also based said cinematic universe more on the world of Smash.

I honestly don’t picture DP to be a part of it and for it to be entirely CGI.

I do kinda wanna see a live action/CGI Mega Man movie with game accurate designs for the robots.

I'm saying really. An Nintendo/Super Smash Bros. Universe has lot of potential and potentially being big like the MCU especially especially how iconic Nintendo is worldwide.

If it weren't for Nintendo, video games wouldn't be as they are today. Before the MCU only hardcore comic fans really knew of the characters like Iron Man aside from say Spider-Man or Hulk. Nintendo on the other hand though...Everyone even in the general audience knows who Mario is. They all know who Link is. Kirby? They most definitely do.

We need SEGA movies so we can have epic music on the big screen.

Sonic the movie already delivered some awesome tunes:

Half an hour earlier than normal, but this week's Smash event is a tournament between characters who use electricity in their attacks.

So the people who are hoping that their most-wanted characters aren't relegated to spirits are safe for another week.

I was on both sides for a while, doing and buying commissions. I haven’t done it recently. Why do you ask?
I'm trying to get a comission from one of my favorites. I only sent it a few days ago and he hasn't got back to me (which is understandable, he doubtlessly gets many emails a day). I was just hoping to hear more about other people's experiences with it in general so I have a better idea what I'm doing when talking with this guy.

If they’re popular then expect them to take a while to respond. If they have a commissions page then most people say how long it’ll take to respond and then how long it’ll take after that. If you can’t find anything on any commission page they have, try to contact them from something other than email to make sure they didn’t just miss the email or that they don’t check it often.

I think you should be patient, if this guy already made a name for himself, it indeed will take time for him to get back to you if he already has other works in line. Maybe he already mentioned how many "commission slots" have been taken. And, there's also the fact that real life also gets on the way, or we need to take a small break to clear our minds so we can focus better on work later. If you have any doubts on how to ask or what you can get from him, just ask and he will surely explain to you how he does things and how things can be settled.

OK. Thanks for the tips. I checked and he doesn't have anything like that on his page. Just the submission form. I've tried asking him about it on twitter before the last time I tried before he publicly announced he had to dump his inbox because of a tech issue, but he never responded to me no matter how much I told him that not hearing back was making me anxious.

He might be slightly angry because he only wants submissions through email and not anything else. If he cleared out his inbox after you sent your email, send one more and leave it. You might get anxious but they could get angry if you constantly asked as they could see it as annoying. So if you know that you sent your email before their inbox got cleared, then resend it and wait. If you know you sent it after they cleared it, then just wait. Most people won’t forget and just choose not to respond.

Only from Noipoi Noipoi once. I’d do commissions more often if I could. I’d love to get something from Andrea to be honest.
:) Anytime you want to do so, my friend. (xD Truth be told, I am currently working on another one for Hat N' Clogs Hat N' Clogs as he just told and I got another of illustration for a business that does stuff with Classic cars (that I already got it at a middle point where I need to do some adjustments before finally being able to ink it))

I would commission someone to Andrea or Noipoi if I had money.

Too bad my parents are party-poopers...

I don’t wanna say constantly. I let a good couple of months go by after I submitted before I contacted him again, and then contacted him maybe a second time after that. Two days ago I sent another request through the actual submission page as an attempt to start the process over. So now I’ll just take your advice and wait.

I would but I have no money. Also I don’t have a PayPal. I just paid Noipoi in a Nintendo gift card lmao
x'D I know it is not easy to get one for many reasons, but still, I appreciate that you consider my work worth to get a commission of. :> I bet he spend it on something he really wanted, though! Now I wonder, where is he? I haven't seen him around as much. The last time I remember is when I even got commissioned by him. I hope he's okay. :c

:) Thank you for thinking about maybe doing that, one day. Like I told Guh Huzzah, I really appreciate it.

What do you guys do when you need to think of new ideas?
Myself? I listen to music, or watch videos, maybe play something, or even by just having a nice chat with a friend, though the new ideas don't come right away. Sometimes it takes quite a while to even execute one.

I believe he said he was spending it on Luigi’s Mansion. And I’m pretty sure he was just taking a break. I could be wrong though.
