Yeah, moves like Harden in Gen 1 actually give a boost in every single stat if you have 7 Gym Badges.

I knew that Gen 1 was held together with duct tape and love, but that's new to me. Got more info about this?

It's called the Badge Boost glitch.

From what I gather, when you collect the odd-numbered badges, aka, the badges that boost your stats, anytime you either use/are affected by a move that modifies your stats, so say, you use Harden, or an opponent uses Growl against you, the game checks the change, then re-applies ALL the boosts that the badges are supposed to give you.


So, for example:


I have just beaten Blaine and have 7 badges

Cooltrainer whatever uses Leer

My defense takes a small hit, but then the game re-applies all the boosts that the badges would have given me, so my defense isn't lowered at all, while applying boosts to all my other stats on top of that.

Not sure what's wilder, how bugged status modifiers are in this game or that badge boosts are an actual thing after all. I love Gen 1, it's such a mess, you learn something new everyday.

Challenge mode was just confirmed for XC:DE:



This is a very welcome addition and it does a lot for the post game that was severely lacking in the original version. For slightly less positive news, apparently the handheld resolution is about the same as XC2/Torna, which...isn't very good at all if I'm being honest.

As someone who's subscribed to a couple Yu-Gi-Oh channels, the minute they put "Opening" or "Mystery Box" in the title, the feed is just full of weird-ass """kids""" stuff.

Well, I’m helping my friend cast a female singer for a role in his newest song, and I just got an audition that looks really nice and proffesional judging by the formatting and researching this person. Have not listened yet, but I’m optimistic.

So, according to Serebii, Gigantamax Pikachu can be obtained in raid battles this week, including shiny and HA ones. Next week will be Eevee and the week after Meowth.

I don't think they still keep these suits around.

Now that you mention it, I believe we only got a live-action trailer when Miis got revealed.

Made an author's note at the end of the latest chapter of the fanfic I placed on ff.net. Just letting users know that I've moved onto AO3 permanently due to the semi-nonsensical ruleset and archaic interface that ff.net has.

Good riddance. Thank goodness for AO3.

I wish I could put steam on a console just so I could play Sonic & All-Stars Racing transformed with all the extra content that they never added to the console version.

Please SEGA. Port it to switch and other modern consoles! I’ve been hyper focused on this for three weeks now!

I still listen to its soundtrack but yeah it kinda fell off the map. Lack of continued support probably didn’t help.

One of the best memories I have from him is the 2 part Smash Wii U modding tutorial he did. He enabled me to have so much fun with the game through those videos, I wish I could find them again but I haven't found an upload of them anywhere, only an upload of a vid prepping his audience for what they'll need for said tutorial. I was only able to rock around For Glory with Armored Mewtwo, Hitmonchan Mac, and Miku Villager wielding a leek instead of a stick because of his videos and how cleanly done they were. I hope he knows that he helped a lot of people like me.

CTR:NF happened just a month later, a highly anticipated remake with monthly updates. Not helped by the fact that TSR had a lukewarm reception due to ditching the crossover aspect and general lack of content.
