You know, when they announced that Diederich Bader was voicing Bats in this show, the Brace and the Bold fan in me was REALLY hoping they’d have Jeff Bennett do Joker. And I can’t help but feel those lines would be funnier if they were in Jeff’s joker voice over this guys weird mark Hamill impression.

Also, making fun of the way bane talked in The abominable dark knight trilogy isn’t funny. Isn’t just annoying.

Doesn't mean they have to degrade it notably Spongebob with episodes like One Course Meal and A Pal for Gary or Ice Age resorting to pop culture references and toilet humor or MCU now relying on the same formula and juvenile humor (Before Guardians it didn't rely on humor as much as it does now nor was it as forced or juvenile. Pre-Guardians MCU films had a good balance).

Otherwise if not for those I probably wouldn't have a problem with them.

Oh, I wasn't defending those examples you listed, though I highly disagree with you on MCU.

My point is you can keep providing new content for old franchises and still make good stuff.

Eh disagree. There comes a time and a place when some franchises should just end (MCU IMO should at the least take a break).

The Alien, Terminator and Predator franchises are notably also among those but agree to disagree I guess.

I don't hate it but I do at the very least think they should take a break (Especially given they're pumping out 2-3 every year) unless they they start going back to pre-Guardians humor or not relying on the same formula.

Which is why I got burned out by them.

I wouldn’t say it’s a Mark Hamill impersonation, doesn’t really give that vibe to me

Harley earned it in a way (poor Diana if she ends up being less popular than Quinn)

the MCU formula isn’t ever gonna break, so there’s no point in changing what’s been making them billions of dollars every single year since like...2012 (2020 would have a harder time continuing that considering...2020)

I don't reall feel like the MCU is being milked. Unless your a hardcore MCU fan, which granted a lot of is are, as a casual fan you're probably just keeping up with the characters you care about.

For instance my dad loves Iron Man and Doctor Strange. So he's only REALLY cared about The Iron Man Trilogy, The Avengers Movie's, and Civil War.

It's only being milked if you're going to watch every single one of these multiple interconnected franchises. If you only cared about 1 or 2 like my dad you'd be wondering where the ****ing **** Doctor Strange 2 is. That goes double for my Pawpaw who is a Hulk fan.

And, I think people are not understanding what the "Marvel Formula" people are talking about really entails but that's a whole nother essay.

For the most part he's doing fine, but wants to focus on dealing with personal stuff, without getting too deep into it. Usually I don't post this kind of stuff since it isn't my personal business, but I figured people might want to know if he was doing ok.
