Sarcasm or not, don't beat yourself like that. You are not the only person I have encountered with this sort of thought. It is up to you if you want to keep working into illustration, not me. But I am trying to make you see that NO ONE is born knowing how to draw or how to use ANY sort of medium.

Okay, the fight scene in the recent episode got me thinking about how sick a Steven Universe fighting game would be. Preferably a platform fighter like Smash, but I might even accept a traditional one. Here's a tentative roster.

For all it's flaws, I still really liked The Clones Wars, so I was ecstatic to see Ahsoka's surprise return in Rebels. You can bet I'm hype about this, too.

T 3 T Have some faith in YOURSELVES, both you are your brother. Again, I know it might be kind of hard to believe because it looks as if I could do stuff like this in my sleep (which is NOT the case) but I felt the exact same, and even worse before I got into digital art and I felt left behind by other artists that were already mastering both Digital Media and Traditional. I sucked at art class in University and I even hated it. Most of my ability has been self taught, and I started just like you. And even right now, my biggest and most annoying struggles is drawing humans, and I am still intimidated by them. (Oh, and foreshortening, also. Plus a lot more crap I cannot name right now).

Let me clarify I’m not bashing on my art! lol It’s true I don’t like it, but I’m not saying, “Woe is me! I’m doomed to be bad at art!” That attitude will get you nowhere.

But yeah, I totally get that. A lot of the people I know are talented artists, so perhaps that's why there’s so much pressure?

Honestly, though, at this rate, I think I should focus more on building confidence and having healthy heart mentalities. I feel like my pessimism and hatred for my own art is blocking me from improvimg. It gets to the point where I’m too scared to create anything because I know it won’t meet my standards. (Of course, I’m not expecting perfection, it’s just that I wish I could make work I’m at least satisfied with.)

This is cool! I've been meaning to make my own su roster myself. I like the idea of White Diamond/Pink Pearl. I think some of the smaller fusions like smoky or stevonnie should be playable too tho. And can Rose turn into Pink like Zelda/Shiek? lol.

Okay, the gimmick was going to be that each person picks two characters, and they can swap between them freely. If a meter is filled, they temporarily fuse (or do something else in the case of a human + gem combo). Hence the lack of fusions - it'd be weird for Pearl and Sardonyx to fuse. I made exeptions for Bluebird and Garnet, as they eclipse their components in popularity.

He would mostly use Lion's powers. If those don't cut it for a full moveset, he could use the weird gem tech that doesn't fit with anyone else (the duplicator, robonoids, the Sun Incinerator)

Honestly, I'd imagine Lars like Captain Ginyu in a fighting game enviroment. With his moveset being mostly commands that call in the Off-Colors for different assists.

This could definitely work. We do know from Rebecca sugar that he has lion’s powers as well, just a matter of does he know this. Could work well to incorporate both.

Yellow Diamond's proportions in the later seasons are so much better than they were in her debut. Come season 4, there were really no more grounds for the giraffe memes and she looked much more intimidating.

No argument there - I was moreso bringing up that her Pearl is roughly a tenth of previous size.

You will, at one point. As long as you keep on going. That is something I should follow myself when it comes to human drawing and stuff, but, it's hard at times out of fear. It happens to any artist in whatever subject they do not see as their forte.
