Mandatory handwashing before public transport by using public sinks that are activated by weight pressure from feet so people don't touch taps to potentially infect them. Compared to "We will now wash the subway twice a day" or a refusal for benefit programs, Africa seems significantly better at this. South Korea's doing a good job at keeping the virus at bay too

Honestly there is anxiety. I know it'll still get a bit worse before it gets better. My sibling is worried about uni getting cancelled. I'm not particularly fussed about college closing. Because it's abundantly clear that despite originating from them, that's not doing **** in stopping the spread of infection in other countries
The reason why Africans aren't getting infecting is because they're treating this as a serious threat compared to other places like the US
And considering the state of multiple countries rn, they sure as **** didn't get the memo until after it was too late

I'm sorry, but I just really hate when people make comments like this... it annoys me so such

Look, coronavirus is a serious threat now, partially due to some governments' ineptitude in handling the situation
The cancellation of major events and pastimes should make that perfectly clear
People should not be treating this lightly anymore considering it's a pandemic
