Judging from GameXplain's video on a private demo, Barret's very Mr. T but Cloud's fine, they even said Tifa's perfect and Aerith has her original personality

Alot of trailer I seen for the FF7 Remake make it look like Cloud is a asshole, which from what I heard, is normal at the start of the game.

Did they change that in the demo or somethin'?

I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw but maybe I’ll try to give it another shot. I loved the 2012 series so I might have my expectations a bit high.

I had too high of expectations due to those damn 2012 Turtles, but I ended up watching Rise...cause of John Cena...

but yeah, it’s like going from Spectacular Spider-Man to Ultimate Spider-Man (which ended up being pretty good when they focused on the main plot that is)

I played the original FF7 just a month ago, and TBH everything I've seen from the characters has them completely on point with the original. Barret always had a Mr. T vibe and Cloud is a bit of an apathetic jerk in the beginning.

I mean, to each their own, but I don't see what the problem is. Remake seems pretty faithful to me.
