Sonic's game design is good but not because it makes anatomical sense.

If his body was designed to run super-fast, he wouldn't have a giant head and noodle arms. Also, mono eye wouldn't change how he sees things because pupils receive light, not sclera.
I mean I GUESS...though I do wonder what his sight would accurately be like with his eyes set up like that.

His sight would be the same with humans since he has two eyes in front of his face.

Honestly, mono eye thing looks cute but it makes no sense whatsoever. Does he have one giant eyeball with two lenses? How does that leave any space for his brain? If his eyes aren't spherical like all vertebrates how he can see like one? Etc.

@JDCabrera Remember that we talked about the Prince of Persia and the first title from Ubi? Sands of Time?

https://www.thesixthaxis.com/2020/02/12/prince-of-persia-dagger-of-time-vr-game-experience/

So...this is something I was definitely not expecting. A VR experience based on that. Sounds neat but...I would have preferred something more...accessible?
Yeah, a remake could have been easier to access for way more people.

VR experiences tend to sadly be too limited for the public (such as Mario Kart VR).

inb4 she's played by Scarlett Johansson.
I cast Zachari Levi as Banjo.

I mean, heck, after years of NOTHING from that series, a remake of the first one with improved graphics along with other stuff would have done wonders. It honestly makes no sense to, again, bring something that not many people will have the chance to enjoy.

o-o There's a Mario Kart VR?

Yup, Mario Kart VR is a thing.

Sadly exclusive for Japan arcades and rare events everywhere else.

I'm not an expert on game development but it's possible that they couldn't get funding for it if it wasn't for VR in the first place.

VR is being pushed super hard right now. I don't think it's a coincidence that popular, dormant franchises keep getting games exclusive to it.

Being the aspiring game dev I am, this post right here is as accurate as it can be.

9/10 games can only be made with very specific designs/genres in mind, and VR is still a fairly untapped market. Capitalizing on it is the smartest thing to do long-term.

Just look at Boneworks for example, amazing game for being VR.

Of course it is like Mario Kart GP for Arcades.
I wanted to play it for years and when I finally got to see one in an airport I wasn't able to cause I was in a rush. Before Pac-Man got into Smash by the way.

They did release a Mario Kart Arcade GP cabinet at a small arcade on a really recent shopping center months ago.

Sadly the machine broke but I got to play it!

Mario Kart Arcade isn't even good.

Also hi everyone, haven't been feeling well, so I wasn't really around for a while. I see people have been showing their collections. I might do it, too, though my shelf is a bit of a mess right now.

Did somebody say sharing collections!?

I would show a picture of my shelves here, but uh I'm at school atm.

>Siri, remind me in 10 hours to take a picture of my shelf

So what's everyone doing or been doing?

I'm just watching anime and changing quotes and stuff. Writing practise. Thought I'd hear people doing offline things.

School.

That is all. I also am working on brainstorming on my project.

Nothing super major is changing(I'm not changing the MC or premise or stuff like that) but I may remove/add a few more things here and there.

Currently on my English classes.

After that, I will be home alone since my mother goes to the theatre with my grandfather.

Makes a lot of sense. Still, it's sad.

Depends on what country you're eating it in and what.
American McDonalds has the best breakfast but British McDonalds for everything else except sweets. Italian McDonalds destroys everything in that.

It's ok but I'm more of a Burger King and Chinese food guy.

To continue my own quote my college is like the only place closed in NI and everywhere else in the UK is off next week. Outside of small bits I'm done with work so I'm currently watching Laid Back Camp.

Edit: This got buried so never mind this. Thought it would have started off talking about something. Will post that later.

*whips out this*
There was a problem fetching the tweet
It really bothers me more than it should that the red ribbon is just attached to the front instead of going all around the bag like it's supposed to.

lol what, I didn’t know you could teach Surf to any Pikachu in the new games...

Thanks, Youtube.
I think it's a Let's Go Pikachu thing?

My memory of any of the games before I pretty hazy though, so probably wrong there.
