Probably first or second week of Febuary. So, when are we thinking the next Nintendo Direct is gonna be? You think we're gonna get a quarterly direct or are they gonna be no shows till E3?
I’d be down for the big guy! He’s shown off tons of powers across all 3 games, and we could always use more evil. Just think about how he could use his Bowser suit for his Fs!Have people talked about King Boo? Because aside from MM2 which doesn't need a spirit event since it doesn't have new characters, the only Nintendo releases not to get spirit events were Fire Emblem Three Houses and Luigi's Mansion 3. Given that 1st parties are back on the table and the lack of FE spirits turned out to be significant, I think he's looking pretty likely.
I love how the reveal has blessed us with more beautiful art of Fem Byleth.“I’ll name you Edelgard, and you Dimitri, and you Ingrid, and you Dorothea, and you Hilda, and you back there Dedue and you up there Claude!”

Now we wait for fan art of Cuphead in Smash. Then my life will be complete, and I can die happy.“I’ll name you Edelgard, and you Dimitri, and you Ingrid, and you Dorothea, and you Hilda, and you back there Dedue and you up there Claude!”

Well, I did sketch my favorite games that I played through in 2019 a while back. Here, I’ve still got a long way to go, but even then, I’m still happy with the result.Just sitting thinking of doing interesting.
I'm bored. I'm gonna make a 50 favourite games of all time list. Anyone else ever done it?
Like I said, I drew my top 10 games of 2019, and now I've decided to share. I've got some room for improvement, but I'm ultimately happy with how it all came out.
And there you have it. Everything is still pretty messy, but I'm still happy with how they all came out. I'm sure there might be a bit of flak from some of my choices, but they're my opinions alone, and I respect yours. Just don't be a giant jerk about it.View attachment 255582
I'm a big fan of creation in video games. I'm also a big fan of just goofing off. This game combines them together beautifully and (more often than not) hilariously, whether you're just screwing around or actually focused on advancing through the game. The impressive breadth of stuff you can write down can lead to amazing situations such as a dude giving his girl... well, anything, really. If you wanna be either good by being creatively evil, then this game should deliver.View attachment 255583
I'm also a sucker for platformers, and this series is one I've been intent on getting into for a few years now. I enjoyed just how weird the whole game is: it's not every day you play a game that sees you catching monkeys around the world, especially when most of the time they're minding their own business. The control scheme took some getting used to, but ultimately, I found myself going bananas with the whole thing. I'd love to try the other two main titles one of these days.View attachment 255584You know how some video game sequels are essentially just the first game, just made infinitely superior by doubling or tripling the amount of content the first game had? Mario Maker 2 is a shining example of that thanks to... well, everything that was added. From the new enemies to the 3D World theme to the slopes, it takes everything that made the first game so good and essentially pumps it full of sheer joy and extra creativity.View attachment 255588
The first game on the list in my backlog, and probably the oldest as well. I watched my brothers play it little by little when I was younger, but it was only until recently I tried it for myself. While I enjoyed 2 and 3 more, this was still a really strong start for Pikmin as a franchise, with a lot of creative ways to use the Pikmin to repair your ship.View attachment 255589
This was the first point-and-click adventure I've played, and it was definitely a delight. Aside from being simple to understand and not riddled with the morality system that Telltale became known for, it's one of the funniest games I've played this year (just listen to pretty much anything Max says).View attachment 255590
Who knew such a silly concept should be so much fun? This game has a simple enough premise: you are a goose, and your goal is to cause as much of an uproar as possible against a village. With the sheer amount of stuff you can do to screw with the people, it's easily on of the funniest games of the year.View attachment 255591
Another game stuck in my backlog, this year was the first I played my own way through instead of just screwing around on my brothers' profile. It might be one of the darkest Zelda games, but it's still one of the greats, with how much fun a lot of the mechanics are (Wolf Link, Ball & Chain, Clawshots, the list goes on).View attachment 255592
This may just be my favorite Luigi's Mansion yet, which is a sentiment most likely shared among other fans of Mario's little bro. Aside from beautifully combining the open exploration of the first game with the creative theming of the second, the controls are easy to grasp and the puzzles are ridiculously creative, especially those concerning Gooigi.View attachment 255593
I've said this earlier; I've played this game so dang much that I've completely forgotten how to play Mario Kart properly anymore. Honestly, I doubt anybody's to blame: this is a genuinely fun, fast-paced kart racer with tons of content that continues to trickle in (some questionable business practices aside). It's a great reminder that Crash is back, and hopefully here to stay!View attachment 255595Oh yes I did. I gave this game a shot, and I don't regret it. Beyond all the fanservice, It's a genuinely fun game with simple controls, satisfying attacks, and a story that actually managed to tug at my heart with great characters. It all combines to make Senran Kagura the best game I've played this year.
Dunno. Seems weird since the Resident Evil ones still pop up after that event ended. I should probably do the event fights and the rest of the DLC spirits this weekend or something. I took care of the SNK and Dragon Quest ones already. So like
We ever getting old missed spirit events added to the spirit board or....
Been half a year since DxM and Tetris, even Links Awakening was like a 2 month wait.
Isn't King Boo already a spirit?Have people talked about King Boo? Because aside from MM2 which doesn't need a spirit event since it doesn't have new characters, the only Nintendo releases not to get spirit events were Fire Emblem Three Houses and Luigi's Mansion 3. Given that 1st parties are back on the table and the lack of FE spirits turned out to be significant, I think he's looking pretty likely.
February or March. So, when are we thinking the next Nintendo Direct is gonna be? You think we're gonna get a quarterly direct or are they gonna be no shows till E3?
They pop up if you earned them during the event.Dunno. Seems weird since the Resident Evil ones still pop up after that event ended. I should probably do the event fights and the rest of the DLC spirits this weekend or something. I took care of the SNK and Dragon Quest ones already.
I hope your right. At least this time they made January worth waiting through with the Pokémon and Smash directs.... as controversial as they both ended up being.Probably first or second week of Febuary.
Would be 3 months out from when Sakurai filmed the Byleth Presentation, so fighter six is likely coming along enough for a trailer.
We have all these new listings for games on switch, and all the updated systems on gamestops website. So ones probably coming soon, but I don't think we get anymore this month with two big ones already happening.
What genres so you like? PS4 people on here like myself could help.I tried to look for new games on my ps4 and “hack and slash” and “platformer” aren’t even distinct categories I can search through.
Why must life be so cruel.
I think she just said them. What genres so you like? PS4 people on here like myself could help.

What he said. Hack n slashes and platformers. I also like fighting games and kart racers but I don’t really have a shortage of them.I think she just said them.
lol
I can barely think of my top 5, let alone 50 games.Just sitting thinking of doing interesting.

So Hero is a timeline of Toriyama designs?Something I found interesting about Hero is the way the alternate costumes look. Erdrick and Solo have more rectagular eyes, which was common for Frieza-Cell Dragon Ball Z, and Eight has rounded eyes, which was common in the original Dragon Ball and Buu Arc, which, by the early 2000s, already ended. And then the Luminary also has rounded eyes, which was prevelant in Dragon Ball Super.
Makes you wonder what DB arc Akira Toriyama was doing at that time.
I'd like Krystal but oh god Star Fox would be 2nd to Fire Emblem in "TO MANY CLONES REE"Fay and Miyu as Fox and Falco echoes respectively while Krystal joins as a unique character. The trailer is titled “Girl Power”.
IDK. A lot of people want more Star Fox characters and the series just doesn’t have many options for unique fighters. And I don’t think Slippy, Peppy, or Pigma would work very well as fighters. And Leon, Andrew and Panther don’t have anything you could give them to make them unique but their proportions are too weird for them to be echoes. And Andross, well.....I'd like Krystal but oh god Star Fox would be 2nd to Fire Emblem in "TO MANY CLONES REE"
Going regardless:What he said. Hack n slashes and platformers. I also like fighting games and kart racers but I don’t really have a shortage of them.
I mean, at that point, it's better to just 'not' then.IDK. A lot of people want more Star Fox characters and the series just doesn’t have many options for unique fighters. I’ll look into each. Thanks!Going regardless:
Nier Automata
Shadow of Mordor
Dishonored 2
Gravity Rush 2
Those are the four of the top of my head. One is an open world platformer, one is a first person "let's see how many ways you can kill someone", another is a third person "let's see how many ways you can kill someone" and the top one is one of the most fun games I've ever played.
IDK. Echoes take so little development time that they’re basically harmless.I mean, at that point, it's better to just 'not' then.
It's one thing to add a character to promote a game/the newest game in the series
It's another to throw in a bunch of melee clones.
I'd love an "Echo pass", and I'm sure a lot of people would, but adding characters for the sake of it when, correct me if I'm wrong but did those 2 even appear in other games besides SF2, seems like a kinda bad idea.
Krystal, sure, 100% on board, buuuut she's an Assist Trophy so....
SwSd can be beaten in under 12 hours. The campaign isn't really....good.When I play RPGs... am I doing it wrong? I didn’t do much in the way of grinding and I beat SwSh and FFVII each in a weekend. Aren’t theses games supposed to be like... a week long tops?
I’ll look into each. Thanks!

Yeah, kinda hard to make happen considering what the gameplay of the original series is like.IDK. And Andross, well.....

what character on the roster would best serve as Byleth’s rival?
